Good thing for Firefox screenshot feature. It made it easier. It was easier to paste it altogether in good ole Paint because the whole board on the spreadsheet isn't visible in one image, or even 2.

Makes for an easy look to see everything.

Having everything divided up in color, along with full names, position, teams and round number adds some concrete to the whole effort that everyone puts in each year.

Spicy and the trash talkers are looking good

  9. I've been an outsider just lurking in this draft (totally not to see what Tim and Will's draft tendencies are ;)) but I'm loving Beachbum's and Dork Dynasty's drafts, I think they are big winners!

That’s why even in dynasty, you have to play the games. I actually don’t like Dork Dynasty’s draft much. Going back to my comments in our mocks though about Mecole Hardman. If I believe his ceiling is about 70% of what Tyreek is, you can see why I might be underwhelmed early. Certainly the opportunity is there.
I like his pick of “Hollywood” more. But there are question marks in that offense as to what his abilities might equal in a fantasy format. Time will tell. Fair to call it boom-or-bust near the top, at least in terms of immediate returns.

I do kind of enjoy how similar his draft and my brother’s (Spicy) are though, in that they virtually ignored 3/4’s of the starting positions and just went RB-WR-WR-RB throughout the draft in similar sequence. Those positions do provide the highest payout when you hit, so it’s not the worst strategy ever.

I also liked Beach’s draft. I had Deebo in my first round (also Singletary), so I loved it through the first half

  11. Actually I should also add a caveat to my comment by saying that I don't have any idea about the rosters of your teams so my opinions were purely based off players I liked.

I kind of agree about Mecole Hardman, he's obviously not Tyreek Hill but honesty even 70% of Tyreek Hill aint half bad. Seems pretty obviously that, assuming Tyreek gets suspended, he'll fill his role and should get a lot of targets in his rookie season. Honestly if Hardman was at any other team I think he was a reach at 10 but he's in such a good position that I think he's got a good chance of doing well. In my eyes there's the easy top 4,maybe 5, in the draft and then after that it's as much to do with the offense and coordinator than the players. Can't go wrong with KC.

As for the other picks, I understand the problems with the Ravens offense (I'm seriously unsure about Lamar Jackson) but the first receiver of the board falling to the 22nd pick seems crazy to me. Hollywood showed he had a lot of talent at college and should produce big plays, the only thing I would worry about is consistency. I think in the second round you're already punting a little bit for a star so having Hollywood fall on your lap like that is fantastic value.

Jalen Hurd I also think is great value, Anderson & Williams could be good if Mixon gets injured (long shot but type of move you make in the 6th), Riley Ridley & Elijah Holyfield had rough draft processes but showed good production in college. David Sills is a long shot but one of the better UDFA's imo.

I am totally ready for none of my guys to ever start a game for me all season. That's hopefully a good thing though.

Is that a play on words? Or an accident? :rake:

I have two players drafted that will start from week 1, but my depth has also been significantly overhauled and potentially upgraded.

Baldwin retired and Crabtree got cut leaving me with Robby Anderson as my only bench receiver (Odell Beckham and Michael Thomas are the starters). Moving up for N'Keal Harry when he was still available at #6 was an easy decision. Along with the additions of Gary Jennings, Quincy Enunwa and Keke Coutee the cupboard is filled up again.

At quarterback, I have Brady as the starter with Carson Wentz on the bench. I prefer to carry 3 quarterbacks in a league where they hold this much value, so getting Haskins was something that rounds out that depth.

For running backs, I added Darwin earlier than a lot of people would have, but I already had Damien Williams and Carlos Hyde on the roster. Damien Harris fell into a spot that I ended up working a trade to have two picks in, so I was able to grab him along with my original target for the end of that round, Devine Ozigbo. Qadree Ollison was a target as I already own Devonta Freeman and Ito Smith. James Williams was an eventual luxury pick in a spot that was originally intended to possibly play mop up if I missed out on a targeted player/position earlier in the draft. With the possibility of Ballage having a larger role this season and Edmonds playing a different role within Kingsbury's system, my depth at RB is improved.

At TE, my intentions were to get into the 6th and take the player with the best chance to be involved in the offense early in his career. I was pretty stoked to see Dawson Knox available at that spot. Now I will go into the season with Ian Thomas, Will Dissly and Christopher Herndon as my other options. Not a bad young group to be working with.

On the defensive line, I basically played the wait and see game early, but I had Flowers penciled in for the 4th round so when he was available it was an easy decision. He will start alongside Danielle Hunter to make a solid combo.

At linebacker, Devin Bush was always the target in the middle of the second and I believed that I may need to move ahead of a couple of people just to make that happen. He will start next to Keuchly with Jayon Brown and Rashaan Evans being the depth after snagging Evans in the 6th.

For DBs, Peppers was a target for that round. I really didn't need to try and upgrade at depth for that position, but I would rather carry 4 solid players in case of injury before the season starts.

Irish Dawgs is missing Fletcher Cox, otherwise all is good. I can add him first day of free agency if that's easier.

I can get him on your roster now, and all apologies.

If they don't play it hopefully means my guys already on my roster are keeping them on the bench.

So, like Tim did, my draft. I traded down from 2 for no other reason but to get Zach Ertz. I had no plans for any specific player at #8(or 10 like I believed at the time). I originally wanted to trade down in the 1st from #8. I did get my top target in A.J. Brown however that was not my top priority. I wanted to trade down but the problem with Murray and Singletary going before me was that the board was mainly WRs and TEs(very situational need). I had no leverage as everyone was happy to wait than pay to get an option 1a over 1b/c/d/....
That being said, I really like Brown. He was my #1 WR heading into the real draft. I don't know if his situation is good or bad but Mariota being on my roster gave him the nod.

As for the 2nd round I always wanted to get Gallup who is starting in Dallas. It was in my plans since Will cut him a couple weeks ago. The plan was to get him in the 2nd as my 2nd pick after trading back and working the board. Instead I traded two 3rds, Chris Thompson, Marquise Goodwin for a the Gallup pick and a 5th. It sucked to lose them, at least before cut deadline but I needed to make roster space anyways.

I really like Justice Hill. I felt like he could have gone as soon as the 2nd round and he can pair up with Mark Ingram on my roster. I don't expect the same results I had from Kamara but I think it was solid value. Plus I probably needed another RB after losing Thompson.

In the 5th I grabbed Germaine Pratt. If he can start I like his chances to get a ton of tackles.

I traded my 9th and future 7th to select Josh Oliver in the 7th. I don't know if I'll roster him but he has a chance to start and I felt a future 7th was a worthwhile investment to get him on my roster for the preseason. This draft had pretty good value at TE in rounds 5-7.

Finally in the 10th I took Ryan Tannehill because I own Mariota. It felt safe. And finally I took DL Everson Griffen as I only had 2 on my roster.

Ah, the old “silent edit”. I see what you did there...

I had it at never for a moment. I didn't silent edit though. It just appears like that if you edit quickly enough. I only have silent edit power in the NFL draft forum.
