He's not lying. Take a look at the GMO discussion thread. Any posts from 2pm Saturday until 12:20am this morning are just plain gone. So there's no announcement that the draft is starting, and the schedule thread was never updated to show today as the day. I got caught off guard the same way - I didn't see any announcment, and when I had checked for a draft thread earlier, there wasn't one. Maybe I just missed it or maybe it was missing due to the glitch. But I had no idea that the draft was starting today either, and I was somewhat active over the weekend and this morning.
FWIW: The first three picks off the board made my decision for the Raiders at #4 really easy. If any one of those three players had been available at #4, I still don't know what I would have done. Glad it went the way it did. EDIT: Not once did I ever consider the possibility that no QB's would go in the first 3 picks. I might very well have taken the defensive player and planned on QB later this round.

I got a system error message when I first tried to post that Carolina was OTC, and when I refreshed and posted it again, some of the alert messages had repeated (three or four of them in addition to the real ones). The one I remember said that Lyman had posted a new message in this thread, but some other ones also came back as "new" alerts. Those bogus alerts all disappeared the next time I hit refresh. I'm popping out to get some work done. I'll check back in this evening.
