And there are still at least two more that would have been worth a late round pick that haven't been named yet. I have a depth chart in my team spreadsheet on the roster page. I'm making last year's starting RG (Brandon Fusco) into my active interior backup, meaning that he's my #2 center. The real team did not resign Ben Garland, so I suspect that they are thinking the same way. But I wanted to get a #3 in the pipeline for future development and to snap for the scout team. I had originally planned to take an OT as my second UDFA, but we still have Matt Gono in the pipeline as well as Wes Schweitzer, who was a tackle in college and who I have long felt would be a good choice for the swing tackle role rather than the guard position. So I went with a kick returner instead.
Well as it turns out, between all the teams I drafted for I essentially drafted/signed the East-West Shrine game all star team (Nick Allegretti, Ulysses Gilbert III, Penny Hart) In some ways Hart and Allegretti may have benefited the most over the course of that week.
It's also fun pretending you'll use everyone. I gotta check my depth charts. I know some of my teams are bare since they did nothing in FA outside the Eagles and Jags with Foles.
Well you can post your speculated cuts and depth chart. I did it last year or the year before pretty well.
I know a couple people that think this thing is pretty cool. My friends are like, damn dude, last year you were suddenly a Charger freak, and this year all we hear about is the f----n Raiders. lmao! What can I say? I get into it.... It's a great concept, and I'm fairly certain I can recruit a couple players for next year, so please don't give up on it. Participation wasn't good this year, but I think we can improve on that. My two cents.
