Just a hunch, but I think the Broncos GM has a new found confidence in Jeff Heuerman.

Heuerman is Trash. Broncos were having a good offseason until they resigned that BUM. Offseason Grade went from an A to B- with that signing

The Indianapolis Colts select Isaac Nauta, TE - Georgia

He can start out as the 3rd or 4th TE while he improves his blocking and improves overall technique, and he can take over for Jack Doyle in 2020

 

This has been the TE sweet spot of the draft...That's like 6 in the last 25 picks or so.

This is one of those TE classes where there's probably between 4-6 guys projected between mid 3rd-mid 5th, and teams will have a different favorite or different ranks...but it's a 41 flavors kind of thing
