Yes it does feel a bit odd. But as Joe said, it's one of those chart value things. If you go by "the chart", it comes out almost exactly dead even. I'm usually not all that big on the chart, but in this case I used it to help put together a trade deal that Joe would approve quickly as a mod as a fair deal for both sides and accept quickly as a move he would want to make. I needed to move quickly so that I could get back to work ASAP.
Too bad. I was glad he noticed. That odd feeling of overpaying was very much intentional. Side note: I'm not working for those muppets anymore. But I have another client that had hired Muppet Consulting to do a project for them, and now they need me to clean up the mess. I have to get it completely done tonight and documented for the auditors by tomorrow so that the auditors can get it reviewed and approved by a deadline on Friday. So I'm back to pulling all-nighters to deal with messes made by muppets. But at least this year the client appreciates my work and what I'm going through to help them out.
