Do you love mediocrity and bad QB play? The Giants seem to so your plan is perfect! I am not sure there are two players who I dislike more in this class vs. where they will be drafted than Rashan Gary and Daniel Jones and rumors have the Giants liking them both. I really just don't see it with Jones. What about him is special in any way? Inconsistent mechanics, meh arm, effective running a dink and dunk offense but struggles making reads outside of that. He's athletic but not hyper athletic. He is just a big bag of "meh."

That said if he goes in this range that would probably be fine. In the second round you are hoping to stash and develop him and maybe turn him into a mid tier NFL starter. I think there is an equal chance he is out of the league by the end of his rookie contract as there is he becomes a starter but in the 2nd round those are not bad odds.
