9 straight for the Islanders !

 

Amazing what Trotz has done. Wins a Cup and then immediately jumps to a sinking ship and makes them strong. I wouldn’t call the Islanders contenders but they’re more than just solid.

 

Trots is underrated, in my opinion. All he does is win... seems to get the best out of his players and they buy into his system. Dammitt, I wish he was in Detroit, well anybody but Blashill, but I'll quit bitching and just roll with the punch's, but I can only take so much, lol.

Islanders are fun to watch too. Taveres who?

 

Seems like Blashill will be your fall-guy Will. Gonna be a tough year I think and then you’ll get a new coach/system and hope moving forward. Might be a couple years if Stevie Y sticks to his earlier comments, which I believe will be the better route anyway.

 

Looking forward to the Boston and Montreal game tonight...

That's a tough game for them.

 

They seem to play the Bruins well, its just that the Bruins are flat out better in the talent and conditioning territory, in my opinion.

With a little luck, the good 1st line shows up. Mantha, Bertuzzi and Larkin should be able to compete, but if they get shut down, i'll probably be watching another game tonight by the end of the 1st.
