Keeping a close eye on Rasanen, 6"7 226 lbs, liljegren and of course the woll (if he makes it) bad year for BC so far this year.

 

Yes, Woll got the 3rd spot.

 

Woll has been really good on a mediocre team. They’re actually in 1st place in Hockey East, usually the strongest conference in NCAA, not so much this season.
I’m surprised Woll isn’t the starter for USA seeing as how he’s the only returning G with any WJC game experience.
Bruins took a flier on Swayman, looks like he is worth the risk.
Fuck Oettinger, I think he’s overrated.

 

Just looking at Wolls numbers this year, a save % below .900 and GAA of 2.90, this is only through the first 15 games. No need to get too caught up with numbers, the best goalies go through bad stretches.

Swayman? I don't know about these Alaskan goalies.

 

Only Alaskan goalie I can think of is Ty Conklin, hoping Swayman can be better than that. Chances are he won’t be.

 

Alaskan goalies are a dying breed.

Not liking the WJC website. Very basic info and no way to see details in the box score (forget live box score info). Winner/Loser and active game. That's it. A high school kid with basic skills in programming can do better than that.

 

Canada wins 4-2! It seems that the game at New Era Field is the only one that matters now until the playoffs but you never know.
