Bellows with his 7th goal. He can't assist for shit but he is the top goal scorer in the tourney. I wonder if he'll make the tournament 1st team. He has some big goals but there will be like a dozen players with 7 or more points after today. I doubt it honestly. And Casey Mittelstadt is clearly the USA MVP.

Tkachuk goal. Another guy that IMO has been better than Bellows overall IMO. Bellows is #3.

I obviously hope Canada wins the Gold so I will also hope the USA loses the bronze medal game. Nothing against them. It's actually because I want Canada and USA to guaranteed meet next year and that would mean the USA would have to finish 4th for them to be in the same group. 1st place can't play 2nd or 3rd place in the next year's group stage outside special exceptions like the outdoor game this year. If not for that then Canada would have been in Group B.

 

1-0 Czechs. And don't say I jinxed it. If Canada and USA play for Bronze then they can't meet. The jinx would be the USA winning Bronze and Canada losing in the final. They would met but no Gold for Canada.

me neither Will. the 1 goal was bad enough. the other was the nail in the coffin. ugh.

 

I won't put the whammy on team Canada.

It's always a shame when these tournaments happen and Canada never plays the USA. In 2004 they only met in the finals when the USA won their 1st title and in 2005 during the lockout when the tourney was HUGE.... they never met.

That's what happens when 5 different countries could win any given year.

 

As of yesterday... this tournament fucking sucks! That is all.

 

1-0 USA on a shorty with 3 seconds left in the 1st. Horrible move by the Czech. He blindly tries to reverse it and stick on the ice steals it for a breakaway.
