I saw Garrett dropping into coverage too...smh

In Greggggg Williams' defense, Myles Garrett is a human cheat code.

I think we're more pissed off at our own team.

I'm more upset about the Bengals in 1st. They constantly struggle to sell out home games, even in the playoffs.
    At least Brownies are supportive.

Agree that there is really not a whole lot to add…

    The Good

Offensive scoring production doubled. It is nice to see how good this team can be with a real QB.
Greg, Mr Whathisname, Joseph didn’t miss any kicks. We’ll see how he does when the game is on the line.

    The Bad

The not so special teams… This group is just not showing much/any signs of improvement.
Pass coverage. Not sure if guys are missing assignments, don’t understand the schemes or what is going on. Mitchell will be missed. Add CB to the list of draft needs.

    The Ugly

This is the fourth close game that the Browns SHOULD have won! These guys have to start developing a killer instinct and put these teams away.

Rookie mistakes by a rookie QB, and turnovers at crucial moments in the game it’s just a fact of life. Like SAS said gotta take the good with the bad.

I’m not going to belabor the officiating. Bad calls on both sides of the ball. See TD's thread dedicated to the issue. The Browns just need to play at a level such that these things are a non issue.

Jekyll and Hyde defense. Most of the time the defense plays well. They are giving up far too many big plays allowing drives to be extended. Williams needs to get this figured out.

That's the second-fastest time for a running back this season. Chubb showing that elite speed he had at Georgia pre-injury.

    Time for more carries.

I saw a stat that had Chubb with 1 more broken tackle and 1 less 15+ yd gain (might have those backwards) compared to Hyde on the season. Somebody needs to get more touches.

Time for Chubb to get 10 carries per game, minimum.

^^^^^ Hasn't had enough qualifying snaps yet, but...

^^^^^ Myles Garrett #6 for edge defenders with also the highest run defense grade of all edge players.

    upload_2018-10-3_11-46-16.png

His run defense (90.3) would be good for 6th overall among defensive interior players as well.

Genard Avery just outside the Top 10.

  13. SAS M.V.P. Rams Chargers

    ^^^^^ Denzel Ward #10:

^^^^^ Someone owes Green Bay an apology letter for getting #8 on this list for the staggering price of *checks notes* DeShone Kizer...

    Avery's pass rush > Garrett's pass rush?

  16. dlinebass5 M.V.P. Bears

Two players each with 0 coverage snaps, but different coverage rating scores? Yeah, that all checks out... Ironclad.
Eddie Jackson second in pass rush score? 0 pass rushing snaps? Yup. Makes sense.

It's one thing for fans here to be painfully massive homers. It's another to be missing any semblance of logic or credibility.

Avery is situational versus Garrett who's playing an obscene amount of snaps. He's also facing double-teams on most plays and while I don't believe it's counted towards the metrics, he's held every passing snap of the fourth quarter in games.

Quite another to be compulsively pessimistic to the point it is obvious someone hates their life....

Oh, were we not supposed to be making inane assumptions of people?

One simple solution for you, if it's so painful, don't come around. Put our entire thread on ignore and live a long, prosperous, happy life.

Our fans aren't writing the algorithms, they are just putting them out there. We aren't the only ones that reference them. The why, how and what of specific elements aren't necessarily available. Read them, don't read them, just please stop coming on hear and calling everyone homer this and what ever other name you choose to use. I continue to read the Bears board out of boredom and I can't honestly understand why so many pessimistic people are even fans of sports, but I don't remind everyone of their obvious pain, just to get a rise... For the life of me, I don't understand all the complaining over there with the start of the season the Bears have enjoyed. You must be some miserable SOBs, that's all I can figure.

At first I was like... what did I do?!
And then I was like... oh... that guy.

Still expecting over a year's worth of invoices for rent from living in that guy's head.
