baker's azz cheekz clinched up enough at crunch time tonight that one browns friend of mine texted me "same old browns" at end of tonight's game and the browns fan i watched the game with looked stunned

 

I know you would all like to think Baker shit down his leg...truth is, it was a desperate throw on 4th and 10 that he missed. Nothing more, nothing less.

A rookie went 3-2-1 in the AFC North, he will get better and that should scare his opponents.

 

he actually threw an awful awful pass behind a wide open receiver before that .... if he led him to the sidelines instead of throwing behind him then all the posts tonight may have been reversed

 

Well holy hell, that last series was exciting AND just sucked. Just when I thought I might be done watching the Browns, before this season...... What's that quote? Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in - Michael Corleone.

What an exciting season for the first time since ....................(sigh)

We had it all this year didn't we? Coaches getting fired, looking like the same old Browns for two and a half games with Tyrod at the helm, the top draft pick showing his detractors up, a GM who made some mighty fine draft picks, an improvement in record by 7.5 wins.

And to end it all, the season ended on a very reminiscent note for those of us old timers.....We didn't have anything as memorable as "The Drive" or "The Fumble" but Mayfield had a game killing INT. How very Browns to end the season on. Just when we all thought they were going to snatch this game from the jaws of defeat and give the refs a big old middle finger as well...........and then..........CRAP!!!!!!

What a fun season this was. I'll have to think this all out and do an end of season G/B/U assessment. And for once the Browns can have their opponents quaking in their shoes as they slowly walk off the field and say......."Just wait til next year!!!!!!" Kind of reminds me of the end of The Bad News Bears (the original for Gawdsakes. Not that tripe with Billy Bob Thronton):
