Hate the value the Ravens got for trading back in the first. They didn't even get a clean pick for it. Barf
lol. I guessed James or maybe they loved a WR but Edmunds does not shock me. He was surely their BPA by a decent margin for them to want to move up. At least IMO.
My guess is the Ravens are desperately trying to convince themselves to go offense with their pick, but they evaulate offensive players so poorly they can't separate them until all the better ranked defensive prospects are gone. Haha
There goes the top tier defensive talent with the last two picks. I was getting a little horny for a couple minutes.
At this point a move down to get a 3rd and another pick is probably solid considering their board. I doubt Kolton Miller was their guy honestly.
We now know the Giants weren't about to take a QB. We also know that the Jets would take Darnold if he was available. He was. . . . They did. So forgive me, but . . . If you have the #1 O/A pick in the draft, why don't you select the best player in the draft? This team has been offensively challenged for this entire century! You just obtained a veteran QB in the off season and have already named him the starter for 2018 (rightfully so). Take Barkley at #1, then follow up with Mayfield at #4. How is Mayfield going to help this offense holding a clipboard? And make no istake, Mayfield NEEDS to be on clipboard duty just like any other rookie QB in this draft class. Denzel Ward was a wasted pick. Different GM . . . same old shit!
It's an interesting question for sure. I thought you were a little crazy when you wanted Barkley first but now you seem to have been right all along.
