    @IrishDawg42

Not that Mason Rudolph was in the running for you, but here's the #dealbreaker

The draftnik world is going to go nuts when Sam Darnold measures similarly-sized hands at the Combine. My guess is 9 1/4.

I'd still take Rudolph ahead of everyone but Mayfield.

In the right system with the right coach... Who knows...

Right now, you and I are probably the only people that have Rudolph at the top, Crex.

I still have another round of scoring to do for the quarterbacks, but Mason is scoring consistently high across the board.

It's nice to know I'm not quite alone out here on this Island:cheers:

I honestly don't get all the love for Rosen and Darnold.

Right now I have it as Rosen/Mayfield neck and neck with Rudolph right there with them. I haven't gotten into my in depth evaluations yet though.

I've often wondered, why don't they measure eye height, rather than overall height? You need to see over linemen, not have a helmet that's higher in the air...we all know some have bigger foreheads than others...

Manning is 6'5", but he's got an extra 3" of forehead over most everyone on the planet...

    Mayfield: 39-9 (0.813)
    Darnold: 21-6 (0.776)
    *Rudolph: 32-10 (0.762)
    *Jackson: 24-14 (0.632)
    Allen: 16-11 (0.593)
    Rosen: 17-13 (0.567)

    * Not considered in the Top 5

Oklahoma played the toughest schedule in the NCAA this past season when Mayfield went 11-2 and was the only QB in the group to make it to the College Football Playoffs.

Four of the six above are ruled out by this criteria. Literally, this is going to come down to Mayfield and Darnold.

I don't think anyone has ever made a more valid point.

Baker Mayfield is the best QB in this class.

    Josh Allen = Logan Thomas

Josh Allen: "I'm a cross between Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers who put a 7-5 team on his back and carried them through the season. Plus, stats are for losers."

    Baker Mayfield: "Family first."

I'm no longer worried about Josh Allen, unless it is the #33 pick..His play during practice this week is "closing" many eyes I think...

Baker Mayfield or bust, when it comes to this rookie class! If we are drafting a QB in the first two rounds...it MUST be Baker at #1 overall.

I was thinking the exact same thing.. Mayfield was just embarrassing Allen on the accuracy drills yesterday. It wasn't even close....It was like watching Drew Brees compete against Derek Anderson...

Most of us seem to like this kid. He's a proven winner, and I think that weighs heavily on everyone's mind after we all watched Deshawn Watson dominate in college, and then look so good in Houston before his fluke injury. Not everyone, but a lot of people, including myself, just over-thought it on Watson. He clearly was the best QB in college, yet many had other QB's ranked higher (Trubisky, Maholmes etc).... Baker Mayfield had a brilliant collegiate career. He is by far the most decorated of the prospects coming out this year. If he was 3 inches taller, there would be NO DOUBT who is going #1. He has the heart, the tenacity, the love for the game. He's a proven winner, is very good on his feet. He can extend plays, and he's shown tremendous accuracy. He's everything John Dorsey says he wants in a QB, other than prototypical size......The question is; Is that enough to elevate him to #1? He would be the first 6 foot tall QB to accomplish that since Michael Vick, so it's not unheard of in the modern era...I believe his ascent to the #1 pick is happening right now. By the time we get to tax day, the majority will likely have Mayfield projected to go #1...
