Darnold’s OL was so bad...that was proven in Ohio St game...I don’t remember one clean pocket in a 5 step drop
Those numbers are what I'd expect to see line up with comparable guys currently in the NFL. Mayfield's 2.98s is close to Russell Wilson's 3.05s or Tyrod Taylor's 3.02s. They extend plays with their feet, granting them longer throwing opportunities. However, it's impressive for guys like Rosen and Rudolph who aren't mobile guys or someone who's going to greatly extend the life of a play. Rosen's 2.60s and Rudolphs 2.58s are close to Brees (2.59s) and better than Brady (2.71s).
Fact is a definable term. Without an agreed upon set of guidelines ALL talk of draft slotting and who the best is can never be considered fact. HOWEVER, there are people who get paid just to talk about the NFL draft for a living, and when some of those people say they believe Player X or Player Y is the best, then it is worth conversing about and not just 'all the crazies finally having a voice'.
Media: John Dorsey is playing it close to his vest and he is the only one who knows the pick. He's Not even telling ownership until the night before the draft. Also Media: Browns are definitely picking Josh Allen.
Also... This team either needs to love Jacoby Brissett or strongly consider spending #6 overall on a QB.
Chris Simms on 92.3 just now: Sam Darnold is the least consistent from the pocket He led the NCAA in turnovers He's the youngest of the group From talking to executives, he knows the least about football He's *not* a safe pick FWIW... Simms likes Josh Allen at #1 overall.
#AnyonebutDarnold Allen will keep our punter busy Darnold will make Joe Haden look like a ProBowler again
