These are the 2 I like best of the top 5. I also like Mason Rudolph. Not sold on Darnold and especially not sold on Rosen.
That is the beauty of modern technology. No matter what your opinion is, you can always find people on the internet who agree with you. 30 years ago... If you had bizarre thoughts everyone knew you were nuts and even the nutty people knew they were nuts. Now everyone thinks they're the sane ones, because there are ways to find someone to agree with even the craziest of opinions.
It would be so typical of the Browns to screw up the #1 pick again by drafting Mayfield.....Kirby Smart ran circles around the guy...imagine what NFL DC's will do
GW, when someone makes the argument that "everyone thinks this" or "the consensus is this", the way you dispute that is by finding a quote of someone who doesn't think that. It has nothing to do about being an "echo chamber" rather everything to do with your lack of understanding of technology and debate/counter tactics.
Exactly and it is much easier to do that with todays technology. Even the most idiotic people find themselves able to dispute facts, because of the availability of any point of view accessible on the internet. And no... I'm not speaking of anyone on here. I just find that history and facts that I personally have witnessed seem to change over time. Anyone now can argue any point and make it appear as possible, because there is no shortage of people who will attest to anything be it right or wrong. There was a time when idiotic statements were just that, idiotic. I am being more general about the internet than this site particularly.
its like cutting a tire with a butter knife. The point is, when a claim is made "nobody says that" or "nobody thinks that" and one produces evidence of well known people actually saying said thing, it does not then become "oh well, that's just the easily accessible crazies". This isn't Alex Jones claiming the Sandy Hook Massacre didn't happen, these are legitimate NFL people saying that Baker at 1 is a real possibility. Stop trying to spin it into something its not. A simple claim was made. Tweet was shared debunking said claim. It doesn't need 4 more posts going back and forth explaining how that should work.
"Sam Darnold is a safe pick." - I'm as guilty as anyone else for saying this. 37 turnovers in 26 games is not safe. That's DeShone Kizer-esque.
I wouldn't disagree... he's definitely Top 3. His adjusted completion percentage was 73.9, which is just behind Rosen (74.4) and Mayfield was obviously the top (82.6). PFF.com credits Rudolph with 13 throw aways. No count on dropped INTs, but given his total INTs in 2017 (9), his rate would be: 458 - 13 / 9 = 49.4
No matter what, I'm excited about this whole thing. The draft goes 10am Friday morning here, and I'll be at a memorial, so won't be watching the drama unfold. Pins and freaking needles.
lol... speaking of spinning. Who said nobody thinks or nobody said that? If that were the case I completely agree. Because Joe Blow would have said it and it would not be something debated. You are taking what I've said out of context. Taking a quote from someone doesn't make it a fact. All it does is it shows someone thinks like you do.
