Yes, you're right. The definition of the word 'snap' is a little hard to understand - in multiple threads. Glad we straightened that out. Also if that ^^^^ sentence was edgy, or offensive in anyway please let me know.
I'm trying to find the DRAFT talk on the DRAFT thread, has anyone seen it? Seriously 4 pages of bickering was a bit much to sift through. All off of what, someone bagging on anyone using PFF stats? Man, what a tool he was. Those stats don't ever show anything. Although, they did show that Baker was the top QB...so....nailing the 1st pick when most weren't considering the guy is pretty decent. That and ALL NFL teams utilize some sort of advanced metrics similar to what PFF offers, so there's not much merit there. IN ACTUAL FOOTBALL NEWS, Browns (re)claimed OL Anthony Fabiano. He played a few games for us 2 yrs ago (I believe) but didn't make the final cut last year and went to Indy.
Actually, it was an issue around snap counts (I had to do some digging, too). Our Yinzer friend didn't like me using passing snaps for his QB when talking about a QB playing out of the shotgun, so he predictably called me a name and questioned my "reading comprehension skills". #clockwork Then, in a bizarre and seemingly out-of-nowhere plot twist, our Bears friend swooped in with some ad hominems, gender-shaming (likely embarrassed that I'm an Alpha and he's very much a Lambda), and unintelligible posting confusing a stats database site with an analytics site that they personally disagree with and didn't bother to look into. Express biased opinions first, ignore reality later I suppose. Our buddy @IrishDawg42 stepped in and put them in their place, but this went on for a little while and - BOOM. You've got 3-4 more pages of it. Oh! And I un-ignored @showstopper!! In actual football news... Browns are going all out to try and improve that line / replace Joe Thomas.
I don't mean to be rude so please don't take this the wrong way but your timeline appears to be a little off here. Allow me to fill in the timeline... And the aformentioned Mayfield thread... Deshaun Watson was not in shotgun 78.5% of the time last year, nor was Carson Wentz in shotgun 85.0% of the time. #BogusStats
Here is a honest question and observation. We all "label' ourselves as Browns, Steelers, Bears, Maple Leafs and any other team you can think of fans, but why should that limit where someone can post? I come on the Browns board to talk about the Browns. Why would I talk about the Browns on the Steelers board? I believe we are all SPORTS fans. To have an opinion on a certain team shouldn't be limited to "YOUR" team. If that was the case maybe the site should just take the "favorite" teams off of the avatar. That way anyone can comment on anything and there won't be, "You don't belong here." statements. That would be like not allowing opposing fans inside a stadium at a game. JMHO I agree if a troll comes on just to trash everyone then that should be addressed.
I agree with this 100%. I was tempted to bring it up, myself. We all just talk sports. Talk sports everywhere = good. Trolls = bad. Criticism is always welcome, because it's how we have constructive, productive conversations. Cheers. See? Not hard.
That''s gotta feel awesome for Denzel...With expected $30m guaranteed in his deal, I bet she's still gonna want that Benz for her birthday though. jus sayin.
