I don't know, man. I didn't make the comment, I certainly don't remember the comment, and I won't speak for whoever did / does. If you don't want to discuss with those posters, I get it. Again, I'll be happy to take part in and encourage substantive conversation.
Most of us have been on message boards together for about 10 years. No one needs to leave now. We have great fans of teams here, whether they are perennial winners or losers.
Yep and shit happens. Under normal circumstances we all would have gotten everything off our chests, apologized and moved on but Joe poured gas on the fire by running in to defend you and by proxy a guy who takes shots daily. I couldn't care less about said shots because of the source UNTIL two people decide they are going to defend him. Probably isn't fair but to me that was worse than the actual name-calling which usually gives me a good laugh. Either way, I apologize for my part and obviously Joe had the best of intentions. No hard feelings. See you tomorrow.
Man... I might have to reveal some of this hidden (blocked) content. I should really be getting charged rent by #beached #dline and #stopper since I'm clearly living in their heads. I get it guys... I'm desirable. But I'm spoken for. Just gotta leave a trail of broken hearts everywhere I go.
I gave the Bears the scouting report to draft Kevin White, I was the ref that called Jesse James' catch incomplete and I was the homeless guy that convinced Haslam to draft Johnny.
All right... so... that was *A LOT* to digest. Where to begin. 1. I owe @showstopper an apology... I lumped him in with the other blocks and he didn't do or write anything. Good on ya', mate. Now... where's my kudos for calling Baker Mayfield at #1? 2. @beachbum and @dlinebass5 ... wow. You guys are S-O-F-T. Like... newborn poo soft. It's as if there's a bat signal or something that, even though I don't engage you and you're blocked, you rush to a Browns thread to ... make a mockery of yourselves? That was honestly embarrassing and I feel badly for both of you. 3. Clearly, my attempt at playful riff on your name (#bleachedbum, #breachedbum, #peachrum, etc.; and it should be noted I don't call you any swear words - e.g., "sASS") results in... ... so I apologize for hurting your feelings. Can I hashtag you as #bb? Or is that still too far because it kinda sounds like 'baby'? If yes, please suggest an alternative that I may use. Better yet... I'll just stop addressing you at all since your posts are mostly dull and inflammatory and, with the exception of this brouhaha - left on ignore anyway. 4. @dlinebass5 ... Let's enact a 140 or 280 character limit, shall we? I mean, Jesus bud... who's got time to read half a page of garbage? And that's coming from me whom a majority of your obsessive, insipid, and bloviating posts are about! 5. 9-7, GO BROWNS!!
Good thing you defended this one, Irish and Joe. Clearly a victim. Out of respect for Tim, I'll leave the shots aside. But someone who consistently shuts down conversation and is entirely unwilling to hear question of his perspective is not someone deserving of respect. I'm looking forward to the start of the season, when I can have a constructive conversation with decent Browns fans.
I thought they were kinda cute! I apologized to him for hurting his feelings... I didn't know. No more pet names. Now... what I can make firehalo into that's cutesy?
I was going to ask if all Bears fans are trash or just the ones posting here... Got my answer. Because you are irredeemable. Clearly not.
Personally, @SAS I'm just glad we didn't succeed in "alienating and driving you away" and thus ending L4SN as we know it. Joe thankfully jumped in, pointed out your participation was at risk and really made me re-think my comment (1) and I would like to personally apologize to YOU!
All right... temporary block-release for you since the clicking "unignore" is tiresome. Bogus snaps? I think that was just a misunderstanding. I believe we were initially talking about the QB, which had me thinking passes only. Ben was throwing out of shotgun 91% of the time but the Steelers - as a whole - on the season averaged 70% of their snaps from shotgun. But again, I accept your apology.
