2018 MLB PLAYOFFS

had to find the broadcast last night. it was on FS1. Im surprised regular Fox TV doesn't have the coverage even though Joe Buck is doing the broadcast. I know Fox owns both networks but coming October, normally in my area regular Fox has the NLCS. FS1 is a college station normally.

 

The pay-per-view playoffs is a killer. I hate it and I don't miss it. MLB playoffs should always be on broadcast TV, not the cable and satlelite stuff... ridiculous.

 

pay per view ? i never heard of that for MLB playoff games. now i have cable tv and the sports package so i guess im not aware of that Will. i agree with you, it's ridiculous. as a kid in the 80's it used to be on ABC for free.

 

If your paying for cable or sattlelite, your paying for your sports.

 

some of it is part of the cable package. i pay an extra $5 a month for some oddball channels like FS1 and some others i wanted for college sports and college hockey in the spring. i don't consider that pay per view like a boxing or mma fight Will. to me that's totally different and you are paying for the event. my cable bill is for the entire month.

my thing is if it's remotely true - where is Joe Torre at ? He always seems to be at the bottom of these things and yet he is no where to be found on this or the Machado kicking incident last night ?

I never heard of Machado being the most unlikable with so many people to dislike in the sport. Osuna, Addison Russell, etc. the replay is really bad and could've really hurt or broke his ankle.

Don't know why you are taking a shot at me for mentioning Joe Torre. He's all smiles at the AS game and for trophy presentations, but where is he for the shitty parts of the job ? I like him as a person, but to me I didn't pull this Astros cheating out of my ass. It's on Yahoo Sports and CBS Sportsline. I haven't seen him address it. Doesn't that seem odd ? Same for the Machado incident ? Where is Torre on this? If Machado trots out there for the next game - you know U Dog he's getting chin music for what he did unless he's suspended or both teams warned ahead of time.
