  2. Torgo M.V.P. Manager Falcons

    This is one reason why many Falcons fans think Kyle Shanahan is somewhat overrated and won't necessarily be a good head coach for the 49ers. Short version of the tale: in his first season here, he didn't want incumbent center Joe Hawley, who ended up being released at the start of week one.

    Instead he made Mike Person the team's new starting center. Person had never started an NFL game, had never played center at all before that preseason, and had only taken a few reps at center during training camp to fill in for another injured player. He only played three snaps at center in the first preseason game (killing the drive by misfiring badly on a shotgun snap), did not play center in the second game, played the first half of the third game (and was a disaster), and did not play center in the preseason finale.

    Presto... meet Shanahan's choice for starting center. Can you spot the train wreck in this picture?

    Idk I find it so strange how every single one of his former teams seem to think he was awful but he did well on each team. Redskins fans think he is terrible even though he made RG3 look like a nfl qb, Browns fans think he is terrible even though he nearly brought them to the playoffs with Manziel and Hoyer, Falcons fans think he is terrible even though he made Matt Ryan look like the best QB in the nfl last year

  4. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

    The New Orleans Saints bid on;

    Bradley McDougald, Safety
    $1,250,000
    no previous bids

    I disagree with the take on Browns fans...I was amazed at what he was able to do with Brian Hoyer as his QB. The guy knows how to set defenses up. He knows how to trick them and spring receivers wide open. Especially ones that you would never expect...like the guy I just bid on a little while ago.

    Maybe some Browns fans didn't appreciate Shanny, but I sure did, and I think most of my brethren that post here did as well...Hell, the Shanahan/Brian Hoyer era represents the glory years for the current generation of Browns fans.... sad as that is.:(

  11. Campbell Administrator Manager Commissioner

    This won't be viewed as a rescinded bid so that you still have the opportunity to go after McDougald when the price drops.

    As per the rules, once you rescind a bid on a player you cannot bid on them again in the future.

    Just wanted to post this to make sure that there was no confusion from anyone and that you would still get a crack at your guy.
