duh. They were awful because of the QB. they had a top 12 Running game and a top 3 defense. With mediocre QB play they'd be 8-8 something the Brown's and Jets haven't sniffed for years. And Yes if I was Cousins Viking would b #1 on my list.

 

Well then . . . Put an NFL caliber QB on the 2017 Browns and the Broncos would probably be drafting ahead of the Browns next month!

By the way Kizer had a better QBR than Siemain last year and the Broncos still won games.

 

QBR's don't win games. Players do.

QBR's take into account turnovers. But they don't factor in WHEN or WHERE a turnover occured.

While I agree it's unlikely you can't say it's certainly not happening. Brees and the Saints have had some very contentious contract negotiations in the past. He could let the contract void and use the dead money and UFA to his advantage in negotiations.

 

Couldn't agree more, and to add to that, the Browns and Jets are just starting rebuilding processes and have super young teams. Easy to shit on bad teams right now but the Jets cut almost all of their veteran talent and still managed to get the same amount of wins as the broncos who have lots of talent on the wrong side of 30. Get ready to be put in the same grouping as the Jets and the Browns.

No, you also get the 2019 first rounder, that is part of your haul at the end...extending your 2019 draft picks as well. Same as getting a player.
