Seven targets Gordon didn't get:

 

Again no clue....he was blanketed on every one of those routes...no separation at all

 

Well, that explains it. You don't understand how the game is played or how to watch it.

So... why do you tune in? You like the uniforms? The beer commercials?

 

Please I would love to hear how he was open on those routes? One of the routes should have been a pick 6 if the DB holds on

 

GOOD: Josh Gordon

BAD: I'm not even gonna say it because it's so repetitive and obvious....

UGLY: All day, until we get a quarterback

 

It would have been a "great story" if Gordon had scored, the Browns won, but the reality is we're still a winless team. The other reality is that Gordon did make a difference.

When is the last time we had more than 3 passes completed beyond 15 yards? Gordons presence contributed to that. Njoku had 2, DeValve had 1, Crow had 1, and Gordon had 2. Six. With the exception of crow, most of those yards were in the air for 15 or more yards, and IMO that was largely influenced by Gordon's presence.

I sincerely hope that continues to be the case, and that our QB takes better advantage of the loosening of pass defenses who are focusing on Gordon. I am disapointed, once again in Coleman not showing up with some increased production, but very happy to see our TEs getting some. I would hope that Hue and Kizer learn from the difference in how D's react with Gordon on the field, and make that work for the team. It doesn't need to be Gordon. I would expect the running game to get some room as well, and if the line can give the RBs a hole, the second level D might be laying off enough to allow some bigger runs.

Wishful thinking of course, but it is what I hope for.

Get a W guys and the world will look better.

 

Talk about ugly. Did anybody catch that play the Bengals DB (Jackson) failed to make on LeVeon Bell last night, as he just waltzed down the sideline. lol! Wth was that? I wonder how many fantasy league playoff spots were decided on that epic fail in Cincy's secondary...Unbelievable.

DeShone Kizer was the top QB on play action in the 2017 draft class. He's the worst in the NFL this season - by an alarming margin.
