a bridge contract is you mebbe think he is good, but he hasn't earned a spot for life. most players in this category last 5 yrs in the league. hbob was better at splaining.

Hockeybob was truly the gold standard of hockey debates. He could take a playful jab and it never got personal over the 10 years (even though we often had disagreements).

Really interesting read, regarding the tax discussion from earlier. Far more factual and informative... And leaves some revelations that may run counter to some claimants...

dline-i posted a similar article from Forbes about pro athletes, taxes and the states they reside in on a different thread when this same topic came up. a bigger point is their domicile and taxes. great reads.

1. The term is wrong. I don't care who uses it.
2. You don't seem to either be reading critically, or remembering your argument. I'll recap, in summary: "Teams in Florida get exclusive benefits that no one else in the league gets!". This article says otherwise.
