Well, Matty seems to be channeling Sweeney. He replied by PM that he's running around like crazy and wasn't prepared to make his pick. But, he had Abramov high on his board. Now, if Tim Murray can treat Sweeney like his bitch in the real world then the world would be properly ordered.

 

Normally I would find that last trade a bit steep but I grade him about a round higher. Dan obviously agreed. Pay up or miss out. I doubt he survived many more picks.

 

Yeah, Matty, it was fun. Although I doubt our respective teams would work this trade. I hope you realize my post above is all in good fun.

 

I was thinking I may have been overly generous with my offer, but I wanted to make it easy for Matty to say yes to my offer. And, yes, it was highly influenced by where I believe my pick should go in the real draft.

Of course I traded you the pick I wanted to get in front of, but I'd do it all again since I have picked three prospects that I grade as first rounders and a fourth prospect that I graded as a second.

i had actually forgotten that I was up tonight. not going to be around tomorrow either so my submitted list should grab me someone w/ promise.

 

It's tough to say who I think is a 1st rounder considering there are a bit more than 40 guys I think have a great shot of going in the 1st. That being the case with Arizona I have 4 guys I grade as a 1st and 1 as a 2nd. The 2nd wasn't the recent pick. It was in fact Niemel?inen. For the Jets I think 4 1sts and 1 2nd being Hart.
It's all personal rankings though so many others would surely think I'm crazy. Like I think Hart could go in the 1st but I'm not giving him great odds so I'm not counting him as a 1st, or else I'd have 2 full rounds of guys I rate as a 1st round talent lol.

As for Buffalo based on my personal ranking I have 3 1sts and 1 2nd (Dineen). I give Hajek a 2nd round grade for the Kings, not that I don't like the pick. Love Buffalo's draft though.
