wow, i thought his value had really increased since being a 1st rounder and having strong seasons since. obviously i thought wrong.

 

COL takes Cameron Morrison at No. 40...

OTT takes Jonathan Dahlen, son of Ulf, at No. 42.

not that long ago this kid was being mentioned as a top 10 pick. injuries and his penchant for spearing Canadian kids didnt help.

Lindgren, not too shabby. funny how Sweeney took mostly CHL kids last year and has switched to all NCAA this year. just another example of this team having no direction whatsoever.

Nashville took Fabbro in the 1st. Fabbro is headed to BU. Preds Chief Amateur Scout Jeff Kealty was a BU Dman (and the last 1st rounder in Nordiques history). Nashville took a Dman from the Q in the 2nd.

 

Leafs select Carl Grundstrom 57th overall.

 

He does more than score. He also spears big players in front of the opposing bench, and gets hurt if checked. It may not be a popular view, but I do not like DeBrincat.

 

Markus Niemelainen, Taylor Raddysh, Will Bitten and Cliff Pu havnt been picked yet. Not a bad group still hangin' around.
