Congrats to the Steelers... that was pathetic on all fronts from Cleveland. Sitting at last place in the AFC North, this team needs to do some soul searching and find a way to turn it around quickly because this season is close to over if they drop another one or two.
Myles Garrett wore a grim reaper cape pregame with all the QBs names that he sacked on the back of it. Cameron Heyward said it was cute. Maybe he was forecasting the death of the Browns season?
For all the "doom and gloom", the Browns are stil just two games back and have five divisional games left to play as well. They for sure have issues, but unlike past seasons, they're correctable. It's not like 2013 when they didn't have the talent to compete, or 2016-2017 when the QBs were putrid. They move OBJ, get back to running the football, and correct the Joe Woods experience, this season can turn around quickly.
Most teams can stop the run if that's their goal going into the game. Naturally, that opens up opportunities elsewhere. I'm not sure the Browns can consistently take advantage of those opportunities.
NFL seasons are funny. Three weeks ago the Steelers were 1-3 and dead in the water. Now they're 4-3 with the Bears and Lions the next two weeks. No guarantee they'll win those games but they have a pretty reasonable shot at winning 5 in a row after dropping 3 straight. The Browns could have a similar run coming. It's what makes the NFL the best professional sport and it's not close.
