OK...so we have SteelerKing (Ben Roethlisberger) vs Lymanacoconut (Brandon Weeden)

And the bet is an AVATAR bet from the day after the season ends till the end of the Super Bowl.

 

Correction: Brandon Weeden +20% ;D

 

So Weeden gets 20% more of ALL the catagories?

 

Here is the QB stats and points criteria

Passing or Rushing TD?..6 Points
1 Point for every 20 yards passing
1 Point for every 10 yards rushing
-1 point for INT or Fumble Lost

 

How ever many actual fantasy points generated by Weeden he gets another 20% added to it. Ben simply gets the actual fantasy points he generates.

Example:

Weeden earns 20 actual points. You would record 24 points against the bet. (4 = 20% of 20)

Ben also earns 20 actual points. You would record 20 points against the bet.

Simple, eh? :|

 

EH.......

 

My challenge, should any Steeler fan accept, is Romo vs. Big Ben...not on fantasy points, but on how many times they get sacked.

I got Romo getting sacked less than Ben. Any takers??

 

What if a QB catches a pass for TD? 6 points?

 

Yes.....I will note that in the scoring summary and repost it before GAME 1 in WEEK 1.

What if a QB throws a pass, it gets batted into the air, the same QB catches the batted ball and runs it in for a TD. 12 points?

Set up the scoring anyway you like. Both QB's will use the same scoring system.

 

That falls under the special circumstances clause and I can rule on it as I see fit.

I'm game on a defense vs defense. I just need some better clarification on the PA scoring. It goes like this:

Not really sure what to make of it.

 

It's pretty self explanatory

If your defense shuts out the opponent.....you get 5 points
If your defense gives up 2-7 points you get 2 points

Remember though...your special teams count as defense so if the allow a kick or punt return for a TD it counts against the scoring system.

 

I realize that, but what happens after 7 points? No points lost?

 

Correct.....I figured that by your defense giving up....up to 7 points deserves a few points.

 

Why would I bet against such a sure thing?

 

It's still not worse than Gideon wanting a fantasy point bet on Ben vs Joe.
