  1. SoCalSaint Franchise Player Saints

I thought this would be an interesting bet. Brees at the top of his game vs Rogers doing the same. After the first two weeks I thought that I was in deep trouble after the first two weeks. but now we are running pretty much neck and neck. Brees with a 10 point lead and both averaging about 30 points a week. I believe that I have the advantage though. The Saints are having a little better season so far, AND they are playing in a WAY softer divsion.

  2. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

Just in time seeing as Weeden will holding a clipboard now.

Jason Campbell named the Browns starter for week 8. *BRAVO*

  3. This is probably the most interesting match of them all. Both are off bye weeks and now it's....game on. Should be a very interesting challenge from here on out. 10 pint difference and both can put up big numbers at any time.

  4. Now that is pure insanity. They put Campbell in vs the Ravens in Baltimore and all I saw was Campbell missing his targets by 10 yards or more.

  5. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

Hey! That's an improvement. Weeden was missing by 20 yds+ (when he wasn't flipping underhanded interceptions).

    There's a reason I surrendered after week 2. :!

  6. I don't see how Campbell gives you anymore chance of winning.

  7. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

He doesn't. He just gives us a whole new set of mistakes to biatch about. *JOKINGLY*

  8. Richardsons a BUST , cant believe He cant break out in that frign offense 8)

  9. crextin Franchise Player Browns

    Sadly enough... Quite True...

  10. I don't fully understand the trade actually. Cleveland NEEDS a new QB, everyone knows it but now they also need a #1 running back. Talk about backing themselves into a hole.

Dunder.....I could have taken a commanding lead had Shenanigans not pulled his typical RB switch-a-roo. Roy Helu gets 3 TDs while their #1 sits on the bench.....gimme a break.

  11. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

The whole crux of the trade was for NEXT year. They suspected we were going to blow this year no matter who the QB was. Then, along came Brian Hoyer. Not saying he is the franchise QB everyone hopes to land, but he can hold down the fort for a year (or two) until whomever they draft is ready to start.

And, they probably feel they have their #1 RB on the payroll. Don't forget about Deon Lewis. He broke his leg in the pre-season and went on IR but looked every bit the part of a #1 RB up until that injury.

So, they had a fish on the line in Indianapolis and pulled the trigger sending T Rich to the Colts and recouped the first round pick wasted on Richardson.

So far, based on Richardson's production, it appears they got the better of that trade. No?

  12. That makes sense Lyman.

It just seems that with Cleveland....every year is next year.

Is Gordon or is Gordon NOT on the trading block?

  13. Lyman..just so you know I made changes to your last 2 weeks totals. I forgot it was +20%.....I only gave you 15%.....sorry for that but the changes have been made and scores have been updated.

  14. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

That because every year for Cleveland IS next year. *WALL*

Only Joe Banner and Lomtard know for sure.

To be honest, if they could recoup the 2nd they spent on him and/or get a player of need for him, I wouldn't be disappointed. He's a one year suspension waiting to happen.

  15. Shanny jerkin around R.B.s ? say it aint so....dont worry Trent cant get Donald Brown off the field 8)

  16. SoCalSaint Franchise Player Saints

Well, it looks like Drew Brees had one of his weeks. 332 yds, 5 td's. Rogers ? Only another day at the office. 285 yds and 2 td's. If my math is right, thats about a 40 point difference. Plus the 10 point lead he had coming into the week. Feeling pretty good right now, but not about to claim victory.

  17. BFRLA Guest

It also set a new NFL record for being his 8th 5-TD game.

  18. packerzrule Franchise Player Packers Badgers Brewers

Brees is on fire and will take a worldly effort on Rodgers part to square things up

Missing some key receivers has hurt his overall numbers but I am glad that it gives some of the young pups a chance to get their feet wet. Additionally, with a new found running game in Lacey, Rodgers isn't pressed as much to put up monster numbers.
