I was thinking last night instead of going 1 to 32 like I did last year, I might just do like three or four good, three or four not so good, and two that are really boom-or-bust in the middle depending on whatever factors

Two other notes... I'm pretty sure Atlanta took Hofrichter as a punter rather than a kicker.

Also, of more interest to us... it looks like they did NOT trade up to take the safety in the fourth. Apparently we had it wrong and the pick they got from Baltimore in the Hayden Hurst trade was 4.28 rather than 4.37.

 

Bummer for Tae Crowder = he's probably not going to get a parade.

Just for @TopDawg, since he's now convinced I'm a Georgia homer:

In 2013, the SEC set the record with 40 picks in the first four rounds. This year the SEC set a new record with 40 picks in THREE rounds.

 

That makes Javaris Davis one of the winners of the draft. The sooner these guys get their signing bonuses to help out their families, the better.
