Big Ben -- not a fan of Thursday Night Prime time games! I know the blood thirsty fan wants this, the greedy owners want this, but the players don't. something has got to give here.

Get rid of Thursday night games, get rid of Saturday games, get rid of games in the UK. Start focusing on "better" instead of "more."

 

Yes Irish is correct the 10 yard end zone counts as 10 yards on every FG.

 

The field is 10 yards longer though so it evens out more or less.

 

Going out to watch football just isn't a cultural thing in Canada. At any level the games never really sell out outside of some CFL markets like Saskatchewan where there is nothing else to do.

i knew the CFL fields were longer but i never noticed until that video the double 50 yard lines.

 

dawg-i meant in the NFL it's on the backline, not goaline. in the cfl it's moved up closer to their goalline. but still it's a 59 yarder to win and that's a boot on any damn field.

 

Yes but it doesn't change the kick length and it's the same distance from your own goal line to the far posts.

 

I'm the same way with baseball - go back to a 154-game schedule, play more scheduled double-headers to treat the fans, start the season later and end earlier...
