Ok, so the Ravens have reached the playoffs for the 3rd year in a row under Lamar Jackson and look to be poised to potentially make a run in this post season.

The stories I see as the major lines in this matchup are:

    1. Jackson in the playoffs overall- can we see Lamar Jackson continue to develop and lead a team in the playoffs when it really matters. We have seen him grow during this season and he has had some signature come from behind wins based on his arm so can he pull all of those skills together and have a complete game. We have seen him flounder when defenses throw him different looks and things he has not yet seen so can he fix that issue and react on the fly and make adjustments from series to series.

    2. Defensive tackling/stopping Henry and Brown-I have seen a disturbing trend over the last year and a half where the defense has focused so intently on stripping the ball and creating turnovers that they have lost sight of the fact that they actually need to make tackles and stop the yards after contact/catch. I have seen the go for the ball so much that they have not gotten a body on the ball carrier to the point they allow 5-7 additional yards on each play. I think all the lesser players (anyone not named Marlon Humphrey) needs to stop this trend and start focusing on actually stopping momentum. Henry, Brown and Davis have KILLED us with YAC over the last several meetings.

    3. WR getting involved in the game and being factors- I would love to see the trend of our WR getting involved early and making splash plays continue. Some nice completions down field will open up the underneath for TE and RB to attack the middle of the field. Hollywood and Boykin HAVE to focus and make some plays or get good separation for the Ravens to have a shot to win this game.

    4. Roman creating a solid game plan that utilizes our strengths- we have seen Greg Roman go with a pass heavy scheme the last 2 times we faced the Titans and I would love to see them stick with a run heavy approach and sprinkle in the play action/big play shots. I think establishing the run and forcing the Titans to stay home will open our bigger opportunities down the field. Also Lamar has to hit those shots. He has been closer and closer to hitting them but if he keeps missing on his big play shots we will lose again.

    5. Pass rush stepping up the pressure and making a difference- Tannehill will shred us if we cannot force pressures and sacks on him. If he has time he can move and run and will destroy us through the air especially with those behemoth wide receivers. Pass rush has to get home with base personnel and force pressure with just 4. If not, we will have to blitz and that absolutely favors the Titans.

I think we are poised to really stand up well in this post season and I am very optimistic the coaches and players have seen what needs to be done and will execute this time to advance.

My prediction Ravens come out on top 27-24. I will take that any day.

I see the Ravens winning as well. Besides, maybe, the Bills, I don't think any team has played better the last few weeks.

Good Luck for ALL Ravens Fans.........Baltimore is Hotter than a Firecracker at Halloween....... in these times of Covid Home Field advantage means nothing.

Titans have a Huge problem stopping 3rd Down attempts on the Defense (worst in the NFL)....BUT they do have Oh Henry on the Offense.

Balt.........I agree this game is going to be close and Titans come out on Top just like last year.

I think there are really three main points that need to happen.
    1. Stop Henry, or at least keep him under 80 yards
    2. Roman calling a good game.
    3. No offensive turnovers

These are the three things that lost the game last year imo. Tannehill has been good, but he hasn't thrown over 100 yards in either of the last two games against Baltimore, because he hasn't needed tom. If Baltimore does these three things and still loses, that will mean we lost shoot out with Tannehill. That would suck but I'd take that over losing to another great Henry performance and poor Roman one

Mr. Butler taking a page out of the Belichick playbook, getting a cheap flag at the end there and not mad at Dez for making him eat dirt. You can't get punked in the playoffs.

  8. Congrats to the Ravens.........with Lamar at the Helm they will go deep in the Playoff's.
