It seems everything is tribal anymore. Whenever I watch sports it's predictable. If you listen to the announcers, you know what they are going to say when something happens. It's like everyone has an agenda. It infiltrates all walks of life now. IMHO If it rains a few days in a row... You know someone will mention global climate change. It's hot in September... carbon footprint... Not that summer doesn't end until Sept. 22nd. The Las Vegas Golden Knights are an expansion team and it's a miracle they are as good as they are... Not that the worst players on their team are 3rd line players on any other team. The GK are the only team in the NHL who don't have a recent call up from the minors. They have a great goalie. It's pretty easy to see if you take a second and look at the reality of it. Those are just a couple examples of what I'm speaking of. If you are objective, you are labeled. An extremist or a traitor. Everything is about labelling and trying to control others. It would be refreshing to see people get out of their comfort zones and their tribes and really put some thought into life and the circumstances that surround us all.
wazoo-problem is more terms and names are applied to people. being called liberal, conservative or right wing or extremist are out there. tons of terms and tribes are out there. people don't like venturing into the unknown. they like their comfort zone. hard to change.
