I think he's off of the hook. The office of Shanny hasn't released a statement and Colorado plays tomorrow late in the afternoon. They normally give a team 24 hours before a game when possible.

Every referee has their own version of the rules. They don't all call the same type of game. You can get away with more stuff on some than others. Depends on the ref. The 2nd video I don't have a problem with because it seems both players have their sticks up and he was just defending himself, unless I missed something......

 

Hey Lulz, I've got blank messages and their not moving up between the Bruins, Pens and Hawks. All 3 right after one another. What's the problem? This has been going on for 2 or 3 weeks........When you post, they just keep dropping lower on the board?

 

Or retaliatory hits, or about a dozen scenarios...hmmmmm.

This one confused the crap out of me. 3rd time this year I was fumbling through the rules trying to get my head around a scenario, without success. I can't figure out when they rule a major for a headshot without scoring that and the misconduct separately.

So is this just a misconduct without the major because it happened after the whistle? Is it scored differently if the whistle is blown 12 seconds after the play?

I'll try to explain. There is the thread side on the left and and the posts on the right. In some places the post side is completely blank and doesn't move up to the top when posts are made. The post side just stays blank. No name of the poster, date or time. Theres nothing there when a post is made and it keeps moving further down instead of up and stays open or blank. Anybody else have this problem? It just seems to be in the NHL section and none of the others.....You can post but it doesn't show anything on that side. It's just blank.....

 

Igloo, do you mind if I call you Iggy? The teams threads for the NHL are a separate section to themselves. If you post on the Pens or Blackhawks threads, they are separate from the NHL 'General Discussion Board' and will not show up on the NHL GDB. Only the posts on the GDBoards for the NHL will rotate to the top...the posts on the team links stay in the same order. Hope this helps.

Okay, never mind I guess? I went through the threads and it seems like none of the teams names are showing anything on the posting side , as you said Lulz. But I think when we started here for the 1st few months, they were. And I didn't think hockey had team names, which they do now? Maybe that clears it up?

 

How can a team win when half of the teams best players are out??????? Really ridiculous how this team is like a row of domino's when it comes to injuries. I think I heard them say Detroit has the 2nd most man-games lost to injuries and the Penguins are 1st and they have over 100 man-games more than the Wings lost to injuries. Incredible!!!

 

A few pointers:
Don't put your top player out against the top shutdown player of the opposition when given the choice
Don't let Engelland get shifts on the powerplay
Don't put Glass with Sid over and over again
Implement a pk that doesn't involve letting a Flyer set up camp in front of the goalie
Quit trying to grind out wins because that's been contributing to injuries in Pit for 5 straight years.
Get Pyatt off of the PP too.

Obviously I'm not Dan's biggest fan.

 

threre are now separate boards, under the NHL board, for individual teams. is this what you're talking about?

 

Iggy, I am going to take a less direct approach to answering your question than what hockeybob has chosen.

My response is: quit yer bitchin! You could be a Buffalo Sabres fan and watch your team lose with all their best players on the ice.
