Didn't see the thread so figured I'd start it. This is the revenge game, but not for any Ravens. This is the Dean Pees and Kamalei Correa revenge game. The game that they will want to prove that they were under appreciated by the Ravens organization and it's fans. For the Baltimore Ravens, this needs to be a bounce back game. Three road games in a row and 4 in 5 weeks ends today. After today, the Ravens it's the opposite. 4 out of 5 games at home and a bye week in there also. The Ravens need to come out swinging today and get back on their playoff track
I don't think anyone wanted to relive last weeks fiasco. I've been listening to Browns fans crow all week. I can't wait to see Mayfield get the ever loving shit kicked out of him in Baltimore. Cleveland escapes with a win that we all but put a fucking bow on for them and now their fans are talking about winning the division. Un-fucking-believable. We should bag the Titans and wash the stink off of a lousy loss. Playing an emotional game against Pittsburgh set the trap to lose last week which will have the blood running hot again for this week. I see the Ravens winning by at least 10 in this one.
The Titans are a sneak good team. They have a lot of talent but when you have a head coach with limited experience and you don't have veteran leadership on the roster it can make for hot and cold streaks. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a close game today but I would be absolutely stunned if we dropped two winnable games in a row. No matter who wins in that Bengals Steelers game the Ravens have to handle their own business.
I think the Ravens are still giving 2.5 points on the road against the Titans this week. This feels like a spread the Ravens should cover. I agree with this a lot. The Ravens are probably back on the upswing of the roller coaster that started with Pittsburgh and derailed in Cleveland. That stretch is where I had the Ravens reeling off some wins and stacking the column before the rest of the season evened them out, but with the hot start they got off to I could see Baltimore getting a chance to put a real tight grip on the North by getting a win this weekend before carving out a strong lead over the next 5 games.
3 games in a row on the road doesn’t happen very often...granted it wasn’t long travel but it takes its toll..I think Balt needs to get out early or they will wear down in 2nd half
Good that someone thought to put a thread this week. Been busy and haven't have much time to look the pre-game over until now. The Browns game took it's toll on the roster as well. There are more Ravens players fighting injury this week. Jaleel Scott and DeLance Turner are on IR. Pierce's foot kept him from full practice this week. Tim Williams has a hammy and Tavon Young is dealing with a hip injury. Ravens offense is dealing with a decent defense on the road. Titans rank 27th against the run and 3rd vs the pass. Since our own offense has been pretty good overall thanks to the passing game, our running game has looked pretty bad (24th). If the Titans shut down Joe, they pretty much will eliminate our only chance of success. Defensively, our prospects are better. The Titans have not gotten their stuff together on offense. They're pretty much at the bottom in terms of yards and We've been pretty stout. I can see this being a low scoring dame. I'm cautiously optimistic here and feel a narrow win is possible 13-10.
You're welcome for the Steelers beating the bangles, now kindly lose to the Titans so we can be in second place
Pretty sure that helped the Steelers get out of the basement more than anything. If we lose, you guys will be 2nd. Currently up 7-0 though skin we shall see. On topic, Crabtree having a bounce back game already. The running game is not. They really need to bench Lewis, put Hurst at LG, and Brown at RT. Maybe Boseman at center. I think the reason they don't make the changes is because the pass blocking is somewhat good
TD! Crabtree. Glad they scored, but still frustrating that they couldn't pick up any yards rushing. Still don't get why they don't use Ricard when they are that close. Even if they don't run it, he's 310 freaking pounds.
Jimmy got beat bad and Weddle had a horrible attempted route jump. Thankfully Mariota threw it so badly it saved us from giving up a TD
They signed Hroniss Grasu a few weeks ago. Is he not ready? Is he still injured? He was a starter until his injury last year. I also think they need to find a #1 RB. Collins isn't it. He's a good change of pace, and Allen is a great 3rd down back, but they need a #1 RB.
I honestly don't think they will make a change unless someone gets injured. They will sacrifice run blocking for pass blocking. We end the 1st quarter up 7-0 and about to receive a punt with good field position. I'm hoping to see another TD. With that Bengals loss, it really sucks that we dropped the game against Cleveland. We could be taking the division lead with a win here, and a favorable home schedule upcoming had we only won last week
I was a big Allen fan. I'm starting to think the same thing about him. However, it could be this line too.
Unbelievable. The Titans were giving them the ball with all the penalties. Still can't cover the TE's over the middle
