It’s tough to classify a Week 2 game a “must win,” but this week’s matchup at Lambeau Field between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers might fall under that heading. Both teams are 1-0 and will be looking to take the reigns in the NFC North early on in this 2018 season. We know what happened with both of these teams on Sunday. The Vikings harassed Jimmy Garoppolo all afternoon long, forcing him into three interceptions and causing four San Francisco 49ers turnovers overall en route to a 24-16 victory at U.S. Bank Stadium. Kirk Cousins was solid in his Minnesota debut, completing 20-of-36 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns, and Adam Thielen went over 100 yards in the season opener for the purple. At Lambeau Field, the Packers found themselves trailing the Chicago Bears by 17 points in the fourth quarter of play. After missing part of the first half with a knee injury, Aaron Rodgers came back and completed three touchdown passes and the Green Bay defense managed to hold on just long enough to allow the Packers to emerge with a 24-23 victory on Sunday Night Football. As of now, there hasn’t been any word on whether or not Rodgers will be playing on Sunday afternoon, as he apparently suffered an MCL sprain in the game against Chicago. You can be assured that if he can go, he’s going to be out there looking for revenge after what happened last season.
Aaron Rodgers can't see him not playing this is for first place and revenge for last year...Watch out Kirk there on the hunt
Rodgers will play Sunday. He's fine. He's sitting out of practice for rest, the same way any other star QB would. He can play, he'll be fine. For f***'s sake, the drama everyone tries to drum up about absolutely nothing.
If he's fine, why wouldn't he practice? Nobody else is sitting out practice. I think he's dealing with a sprained ligament and is resting that... he'll probably play, but I don't think he's 100% right now or he would be on the field.
On Sunday night football Aaron Rodgers against the Bears he had a very scared look when he got banged up
Bears fans have this “Erin” Rodgers thing where any mention of the name sends them into fits. Check out their board for more laughs... and conspiracies.
I didn't say he was "100%" - I said he'll play, and is fine to do so. The guy's not seriously injured. Why would he practice if he needed even a little bit of rest? He doesn't need to practice, and he does need to rest a minor sprain or deep bruise, or whatever he has. Comprehension isn't really your strong suit, is it?
We define "fine" and "100%" differently, then, in the context of stories and discussion as to whether or not he'll play. That's alright.
I just watched the video Skip Bayless saying that Aaron Rodgers could beat Kirk Cousins on one leg wow one leg even though Aaron Rodgers is a great qb,I would be offended it's a team game your just one player as great as you are see you sunday
Don't get this Aaron Rodgers love fest just make you sick, but I expect a very chippy game and a Vikings win
