I have noticed a big time fall off in poster activity here lately, but anyway, here is the Game Day thread. Watching via Live stream off of Reddit.com right now, make sure you have a pop up blocker enabled and at least your malware detector running. Ravens are up 7-0 right now with Lamar throwing a TD pass to Andrews. Hollywood is having a strong first quarter as well.
Half time Ravens 17 Cards 6 Lamar has 2 TD passes, the 2nd to Hayden Hurst and the Defense, while giving up some passing yards to Kyler Murray, also has 2 sacks on him courtesy of Judon and McPhee
the Pass defense has been total crap today, although the team is still up. Over 300 yards to Murray is bs.
Maybe I shouldn't watch games. From the quarter I've seen, they have been extremely sloppy and penalty-prone and the defense is completely leaving players wide open.
What a play! Harbaugh extremely aggressive, Jackson with a pinpoint perfect throw, and Hollywood with the over the shoulder catch.
I give the Ravens big credit for drafting Jackson and sticking to a plan around him. A lot of teams are going to be kicking themselves for ignoring him in the draft.
A squeaker that shouldn't have been this close, Credit to the Cardinals for never giving up. Good win though by the team, lots of work on that secondary though. No Jimmy and it shown badly.
Agreed that the game shouldn't have been that close. The secondary needs to figure things out or they need to go get Minkah Fitzpatrick. There is no need for that many wide open receivers deep down the field. We have KC next. That said, this game showed the truly headache a dual threat QB can be on a defense. Lamar beat them passing and ran for big yards when they gave him running lanes. Hollywood Brown looks like the best WR the Ravens have ever drafted, and it's only been 2 games. In those 2 games he has the 2nd most yards by a rookie to start their career (in 2 games obviously). They need to get other WRs involved though. Boykin had 2 total targets and I think Snead had 1. All other WR passes went to Brown unless I missed some.
Mark Andrews is having a hell of a year already. I am shocked that Marquise is being fed the ball as much as he is considering how much time he missed. He's pretty damn good though. I want to see Boykin take the next step.
Nah, too early for all that. Steelers are notorious for starting the season slow, and they've lost to two good teams. Two currently undefeated teams.
It seems impossible to imagine the Browns losing tonight. I think the Jets called up every practice squad player they have just to field a 46 man game day roster of healthy individuals.
