I’m shocked a thread hasn’t been started yet and all talk about the great opportunity the Browns have before them. Prior to the season, we were all talking about this team’s aspirations. We were talking division title, Super Bowl, etc. Well, the season hasn’t gone exactly as planned. We aren’t going to reach 14 wins in the new 17 game format. What we have though is a crossroad of sorts.. to be Super Bowl Champions, many teams have had to find their identity on the fly, face adversity and stare it back in the face. This particular Browns team, COVID aside, still has its main players that we held in such high esteem. They hold nearly all the pieces needed to end this season just as we all hoped it would end. The one huge obstacle standing in the way is the Green Bay Packers AT Lambeau Field. Im not ready to give up just yet. This isn’t the frozen tundra that swallows so many teams in December. In fact it is very Cleveland like weather, around 35 degrees at kickoff and throughout the contest. Barely need a coat for this one. No, I’m not ready to say uncle and hand the division to one of the other unworthy AFC North teams. I want to see this one play out. If this is the team I had hoped had the first chance in my lifetime to make it to a championship game, then the Packers are not unstoppable. There have been SO MANY examples of upsets this season, I believe there is room for one more! Epic day from Nick Chubb with a surprise on offense and one on defense could secure this trend towards champion status. We could go from last to expected division champion by 6:00 pm today. IT’S GAMEDAY BABY!! It just happens to be Christmas as well, who wouldn’t give up every gift they have received and the next ten years worth of Christmas gifts for a win today?! Go Chubb, Go Myles, Go Baker Fucking Mayfield! LET’S GO BROWNS!!!! WOOF WOOF WOOF!!!! Merry Christmas to all my Dawg Pound inmates!! As well as all the L4SN friends and family, to you and yours with all sincerity, no matter what your religious background, a very Happy Holiday!
Merry Christmas fellow lounge houndz! We have a chance, we'll least we did I think they have a chance if Baker would quit throwing phuquing interceptions Anyway hopefully this day finds you all surrounded by loved ones
It did, and back at ya friend I won't defend him because he was awful. The only thing anyone will talk about after this nightmare game is Baker's 4 int's....At the end though, anyone with a conscience knows that the Browns got hosed again. Should it have really been 4 int's? NO. It clearly should have been first down Browns in the red zone, trailing by 2, needing just a FG to win..Nobody gives a shit when you stink it up that bad though.....How was the PI not called? The receiver got "horse collared" as the ball was in the air, but it doesn't f'n matter. Ya know why? I'll tell ya why. Because Baker played so piss poor all day long there's no possible way that it would ever get called. Wow what a frustrating way to see it end... #typicalbrownsgame
Love your ever optimistic attitude TD. I'm sorry you/we didn't get your Christmas Miracle. I guess I'm just a bit more jaded after 20-30 years of absolute crap football and was ready to stick a fork in them after last week.
You guys are still fine. If the Ravens, Bengals and Steelers all lose next week you are gonna be playing in prime time vs the Bengals for the Division. Not difficult to see at all. The Bengals play the 11-4 Chiefs and the Ravens play the 11-4 Rams while you get the Steelers on Monday. Chins up! P.S. Even if the Ravens upset the Rams you can still win with the Steelers beating them the next week.
When you play Green Bay, you've gotta play the refs, too. It's just always how it goes, unfortunately.
