So with Marlon Humphrey out for the remainder of the season and Chuck Clark on covid-IR, every single intended seasonal starter is out for this game against Aaron freaking Rodgers. Oh and one of the top backups at CB, Chris Westry, is also out due to covid. But somehow others convinced themselves the Ravens have been lucky this season. Comical. Lamar Jackson is also out along with Sammy Watkins. So from preseason depth charts, the Ravens are going into this game without a starter at QB, RB, WR, LT, LG, DE, DL, LB, CB, CB, FS, SS, and some of their backups. Lol such a lucky team to have half of their intended 22 starters out!! Anyway, I'm prepared for a blowout but won't be surprised by a close game, only because this season doesn't make sense. Either way, lose by 1 or 100, I'm gonna enjoy the game. LET'S GO, RAVENS!!!
Jimmy Smith was put on the CV list this morning. I fully expect the Packers to wipe the floor with this team, especially as Huntley is in at QB. The only chance this team has is if Rodgers has an extremely bad game and the Ravens can run on the Packer D, which i highly doubt. Either way, with the way this season is going, I can't see this team making it to the post-season.
What's the obsession with going for 2 for the win? It does nothing for them with 40 plus seconds left. Go for OT
Harbaugh knew that if Rodgers got the ball in OT, it was over anyway. They lost two more starters in the game today. I don't blame him for going for 2. It was the right call considering the horrendous amount of injuries this team has suffered. This team will not go to the playoffs in its current state, although the depth of this team continually amazes me.
Huntley actually had a guy in the back of the end zone for the win but was too focused on Andrews. Tough lose for you guys, you guys have good depth wish the Steelers had the same.
Huntley with proper reps can be a starter in the league. No doubts about it. In high school Huntley and Lamar played against each other, and Lamar was an influence in getting Huntley on the team.
I hate when teams try that 2pointer to win rather than taking OT generally speaking. I ripped on Reich when he lost his team the game a few years ago. But on both occasions i think Harbaugh has made the right call personally. The Ravens were my AFC pick for the SB this year. They've had 2020 49ers levels of injuries this season, prob worse actually. Its impressive how long they have been able to hang in there, both in the standings and individual games. Injuries are about to kill off their season tho unfortunately.
BTW they should've won that game. Huntley's throw to Andrews was inaccurate and the exact opposite of where he should've put it. It was to the inside bringing the defenders into play. If he had gone more towards the pylon he would've led Andrews away from them and i think he could extend and make the catch. Also f'ing Packers.
That was Brown. Got away from his man on an in route I think. I actually didn't like going for 2 in this game, nor did I like the roll out to the right or Huntley's focus on Andrews. But it could have been successful if he saw Brown.
Same if they lose They are losing right now........10-7 in the 3rd.....could be a great finish.....Browns have to win.
