LOL to the ref allowing the Titans to repeatedly use the goal posts for layups in celebration of their interception.
Doug Pederson is an idiot. On 3rd and long Wilson does an illegal forward pass on a pitch downfield but he didn't challenge it. That likely cost the Eagles the game. It would have been a 1 possession game and Eagles ball.
Okay well the guy working the booth for him is at least but his 1st half play calling was way too timid.
Seattle's DBs were not that good tonight but their pass rush and the Eagles' timid play calling more than made up for it.
It went forward. It started at the Seattle 47 and ended at the 48. It just looks like it goes backwards because it went backwards relative to his own forward movement. It's simple physics dealing with frames of reference. Remember that we are all rotating with the earth on it's axis and travelling around the sun and hurtling around the centre of the galaxy but none of that is noticed because it's outside out frame of reference. It's the same with this play. The ball went backward relative to Wilson's own body movement but the only thing that matters is the field and from that frame of reference the ball went forward.
If I am the coach, after watching that replay I wouldn't have challenged it because it definitely looks backwards and you wouldn't want to risk it.
Shazier might be paralyzed from the waist-down. Hopefully it's not the case. He was crying with his hands over his face as he was carted off.
