Neither Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson nor head coach Kevin O’Connell made it sound like Jefferson is going to play against the Saints this weekend, but the team hasn’t closed the door on the possibility. Jefferson is listed as questionable to return from the hamstring injury that has kept him out for the last four games. The team has until 4 p.m. ET on Saturday to activate him, so we’ll know well ahead of kickoff if Jefferson is going to be on the field. If Jefferson doesn’t go this week, the questionable designation may be a good sign for his return against Denver in Week 11. Tight end T.J. Hockenson (ribs) has been limited in practice this week and is listed as questionable along with linebacker Brian Asamoah (ankle), wide receiver K.J. Osborn (concussion), and guard Chris Reed (foot). Quarterback Jaren Hall (concussion) is out and defensive lineman Dean Lowry (groin) is listed as doubtful.
If Jefferson says he's 100%, Id bet he goes. He's been cleared and said himself he wouldnt go at 80 or 90%, but from him and others, he's real close.
Not stacking up well vs the Saints for the run game. Akers gone for the season, Mattison isnt producing much, so hopefully Chandler steps up in a big way... it wont be easy though, as the Saints run defense is #17 in the League. Going to have to be real creative on offense.
Jefferson (hamstring) was not activated off injured reserve Saturday and will not be available for Sunday's game against the Saints, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Head coach Kevin O'Connell tipped his hand earlier this week when he hinted it would be "a little aggressive" to say Jefferson would play Week 10. With the All-Pro wideout now out of the fold against the Saints, Jordan Addison and Brandon Powell will likely play a prominent role, especially if K.J. Osborn (concussion) is unable to suit up. Jefferson's next chance to play will come Week 11 against the Broncos.
Hope it's nothing serious just got the wind knocked out of him I hope that's all it is a rib injury can be real bad
