Wow Wow Wow is all I will say without the Spoiler tag. Spoiler At long last we get to find out who was Killed by Negan. Of course that make you wait a little bit before they actually show the victim that was beatdown at the end of last years final episode. Prior to the final I posted the following Of course they didn't show a death in the final episode but we knew one would fall. So who was the victim for those who are reading the spoiler and not watching? Abraham was victim number 1. As is lead up tot he premiere this is who I kept telling people would be the one killed. So I guess I got points for free cookies but as its says victim number 1. The writers were not done there and decided to rip at the hearts of long time fans by killing of Glenn. That's right Glen has escaped death no more. Some people felt like they wimped out in the finale I doubt they are saying that after watching this episode. As I have said before the benefit to binge watching at the end of a season means you can watch without having to wait. I hate waiting lol but I feel like season 7 is off to a good start for the show bad for our heroes but good for the show.
The comic became pretty ponderous and unintentionally funny following the Alexandria herd storyline (better lately tho) Looks like the show has fallen into the same trap. Amplified by how loooong they're dragging everything out.
i don't watch, but everyone felt it was ok to post the big spoilers without warning others who didn't see it who had died. people were pissed! haha.
Of course people are going to post it and people who didnt watch should know that by now and if you didn't watch but plan to watch you should avoid social media until you do watch. Had I not been able to watch last night I would not be online other than to check fantasy scores and then out until I watched. It would be nice if everyone used spoiler tags with big news on any tv show but people are idiots in most cases and then there are those who get off on spoiling it for others.
assholes, i mean people, had no qualms about seeing the Force Awakens on an early advanced showing and typed the entire plot on Facebook and the big shocker at the end. Well, 2 of them. People went freaking insane! People prayed it wasn't true. People wanted to kill those who ruined it for thousands of others.

Glenn's TV death was pretty true to his comic death https://ikindalikemoviesandmusicdotcom.files.wordpress.com/2016/04/walkingdeadglennf9up4.png?w=760
Thought that was the best episode of the season. Surprised they used the "dick in your throat" line verbatim from the comic. Amazing what they can get past the censors nowadays.
Well it helps that is considered a cable channel and not a network channel. Very pleased with this episode as well. I have not read the comics but have read a bunch about the comics so I know a lot about characters and where their story arc is heading. No they dont always follow the comic but characters on tv tend to end up on the same path as those in the comic. That being said and I use spoiler tags for those who dont read the comics or read about the comics Spoiler I cant stand Dwight and hope instead of him swinging to ricks side that Daryl gets to kill him. I get that Negan is a grade a douche bag but I think Jefferey Dean Morgan is a bit over the top so far with the character. Odd because I usually enjoy Jeffery's roles and acting. I know he may be playing the character very true to the comic (I dont know if he is or not) but if he is its just one example of what works on paper does not always translate to the screen.
Like I sort of alluded to in post #2 above, I was never very big on the Negan storyline. He was basically the same character as the Governor, just with a gigantic potty mouth (TV Governor was waaay less of an evil a-hole than comic Governor, though).
Another goo episode IMHO as we see a split widening in the Alexandria group and a new nucleus forming in Hilltop. The thing is didn't they mention to one of Negan's groups they were just trying to get to the doctor at hilltop? Even if they didn't mention it they saw the shape Maggie was in and they would know there was a doctor in Hilltop so logically Maggie would be heading to Hilltop. Point being I think there are good odds the Saviors know that Mags is there. Then again maybe they dont know there is a doctor there. I mean if they didnt wouldn't they take the doctor with them? In a post apocalyptic world doctors would be very valuable. Food/Water and Sleep would be tops, shelter would be in the second tier and I would think doctors would fall in that tier as well. Sure Negan's camp likely has a doctor but can you have enough in a zombie world?
A lot of interesting points to ponder here. I'd guess the Saviors probably must have their own doc because as you said if they didn't and knew the Hilltop had one, Negan would commandeer him or her. Negan is an a-hole and a sociopath, but he's also a pretty pragamatic dude...he would see the value in leaving a medical person at the Hilltop to ensure that they would remain healthy enough to continue to earn for him.
I'll buy that Does Tara really deserve her own episode? Dont get me wrong finding out more about the Saviors and how brutal Negan can be was great just not sure that we needed a whole Tara episode to do that.
I thought the development was interesting but ... it was a little less than riveting having to follow Tara around for a whole episode. When the 2 girls were leading Tara back to the bridge was the intent on killing her?
I believe so. They started firing before she ran. Then there was Cyndie sneaking out suggest that she knew what the plan was. Also if they were actually going to lead her to the bridge and let her go why not just let her go when she ran off.
