Trades and Potential Trades

Well, the January Trade season started with Minnesota getting Devan Dubnyk from the Coyotes for a 2015 3rd round pick. Don't know if this is the Fix the Wild need or not.

 

That trade won't make a hill of beans of a difference.

 

Dubnyk in Minny = bandaid on a bullet hole.

Methot, Sekera, Vermette, Petry...they all have to go.

Minnesota, PHI, and Toronto have to be close to putting everything on the block to see who bites. This doesn't look like a good year to be a seller.

 

The guys on the NHL network came out and stated the Hurricanes would not be trading either Staal or Cam Ward. So I can see Khudobin being on the line

while dumping Phaneuf would be a positive Id think that Mike Richards in Toronto would be a disaster. Kings are already hiding him out there and the expectations in Toronto would be out of control. Either way, could the Kings even possibly swing that deal financially?
