I'm sure you've all seen this, but in case you haven't man, what could have been. Yes it would have put us in some serious cap issues, and he is at the end of his career, but even a 40% Brady would be light years ahead of Mitch.

It's good to know the Bears were at least looking at all options, so they're not completely clueless. And apparently they didn't lose on the offer, but because he did not want to play in the cold again.

Who knows though, maybe I should just go full Homer and believe this is the year Mitch figures it out. Week 1 did not convince me of that. Instead, Week 1 was a microcosm of Mitch's entire career. 1/4 dazzling on target bullets, 3/4 sailing balls over heads, poor reading of the D and just poor accuracy overall.

I'm alright that the bears didn't get him.

Tom Brady looked every bit of a 43 year old man on Sunday with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman performing verbal fellatio to forgive/forget any mistake he made.

He wouldn't gel with what the Bears try to do on offense, because no defender with half of a functioning brain cell would buy him as a threat to RPO. And if he does? Tom Brady's career would end courtesy of a 250 lb linebacker putting him on the wrong end of a physics equation regarding force, mass, and acceleration.
