Hearing a lot of yapping about RW wanting to get traded. I wrote off as click bate to begin with , but it's starting to sound like there is some thing behind it. Going to say no way it happens this season, as the dead money and cap hit makes it to hard to have happen. Next year? Could actually happen. Guess I'm not against it if that what's RW wants. If it happens I'm ready for another complete rebuild under Carroll. Heck the SuperBowl was won with minimum help from RW. Since then of course it got hard as ever player wanted to cash in on the ultimate victory. RW included.
I don't desire a return to having the Seahawks to being irrelevant, I suffered for decades with that. However the Seahawks have been running in place last few years with bad draft position and tight cap making it tough to make improvements and go far in the playoffs. To a big degree it's the curse of having a top QB that you have to pay like a top QB once the rookie contract is up. I'm more then happy to have the Seahawks struggle to find a way around that and at worse be a team that has a chance to win the division or at worse be a wild card and hope they get hot in the playoffs.
I get disgusted with the way QBs fill up at the feed bin until they feel like they bursting, leaving those late in the line to lick the sides of the slough for what is left, Then act like their own glottoning at the trough isn't why the team can't sign quality players to round out a roster.

There is some animosity going on between the Seahawks and Russ, but it could be a hot air release valve between the two. Sometimes you hear, where there's smoke there's fire, that might be true here also, but I just dont see Seattle trading him or Houston trading Watson myself...

I thought the WR's were supposed to be the premadonna's, I guess you could throw a few QB's in there also, especially as of late.

Im not taking sides between the Seahawks higherups or Russ, but Russ needs to realize that he doesnt have it all that bad.

Think we can now forget about any talk of RW getting traded. He's now helping with getting FAs like Carson to sign with the Seahawks. The big news now was getting Dunlap back. . Seahawks really needed his pass rushing abilities and cutting then resigning him at a much lower cost was a big gamble that ended up working.
