It gets talked about often enough how great the Ravens organization is, but it still amazes me how well they are loved by players. There's a recent Ed Reed interview where he basically trashes the Texans organization while saying he felt he'd be still playing today if he never left Baltinore (I won't even discuss his leaving situation). Reed basically said he retired because the Texans, and Jets by default, just weren't up to the standard. Now, Eric Weddle is retiring as a Raven. The man spent 9 seasons as a Charger, 3 as a Raven, and 1 as a Ram yet still retired as a Raven. He's not the only player though. Steve Smith Sr., Jacoby Jones, and Anquan Boldin all retired as Ravens also even though they spent most of their seasons somewhere else. I am most likely missing some, but this was just something I was thinking of that intrigued me. Weddle got cut and Boldin got traded while he was away on vacation, and yet both still wanted to retire as Ravens. That says something about the organization. All that said, not everyone is a fan. Bernard Pollard can't stop trashing Harbaugh every chance he gets. So clearly some can have different opinions and feelings towards Baltimore.
