We scored early and held on instead of a fourth quarter comeback
The ravens lost
The Bengals lost
The defense got two interceptions late to preserve the win
Bad
Injuries to Neal and Alexander
Way too many big plays given up to the packers

 

Watched this one with some Packers fans. To a man, they all said that Love would blow it. Nice call.
Good. No TOs. Warren and Harris ran great and each had a TD

Bad. Too many breakdowns in the secondary. Not enough of a pass rush. PI on Austin had me reaching for the AED.

Ugly. Colts-Pats. I root for Minshew, but wow. Not too much else. They won.

Well, 6-3. Who would think it. If they win the ones they should(Cards, Pat's, Colts), that's nine wins. Steal one more and that's 10. We'll see.

 

Good: Broderick Jones and James Daniels opening up huge holes. Warren is a shot in the arm and Najee wasn’t as hesitant. Benton is a future star, solid blocking game from Washington . BOZ is money. Peterson made 2 huge plays dont discount that blocked XP.

Bad: Steelers secondary without Minkah, letting packers player behind them not once but twice in the end zone. Where was our vaunted pass rush, Love had too much time to survey the field.

Ugly: Alexander injury is huge. That backwards pass by Pickett.. WTF man x

 

The good: run game, OL blocking for run, of course a Win is always good. 2 key INT’s and a blocked xp.

the bad: run stopping, allowing too many chunk plays, not stretching the field. Not using the middle of the field. Not much of a pass rush.

the ugly: injuries starting to mount going into important divisional matchups, losing Kwon and Neal is going to really hurt. Worried going into the next 2 games with a depleted depth at ILB due to injury and Roberts in coverage was not pretty they are going to kill us there. Run and pass.

These are the options for ILB. I still wonder if Golden or Herbig can play in the middle, if I remember Herbig does have ability to drop.

 

I would try Herbig. He played both at Wisconsin.

 

Warren has 3 more total yards than Harris and is tied with Pickens for the team lead in yards from scrimmage with 582.

 

I don’t understand the Browns thinking this week. Starting a rookie QB with possibly their fourth and fifth string tackles playing doesn’t make a lick of sense. Maybe they are saving PJ walker for the rest of the season.

Funny, Stroud is a better QB than some in the top five. The QB for the Browns doesn’t have anything positive in his playing time.

Joe Burrow out for the rest of the season. Two games against the Bengals are now games we better win. If we can beat the Browns this week there’s an opportunity for Pittsburgh to get the bye week. The Seahawks and Ravens are the only teams on our schedule that are really good right now. We need to score 20+ against the Browns and it should be enough to win.

When we play the ravens next Lamar will probably be hurt like normal that time of the season.

 

That team was a much better team than this one and had better OC and DC.
