Good: Tomy Romo. Phil Nantz. Phil Simms, Chris Simms, Tony Dungee, Nate Burleson, Mark Schlerith, Bill Cowher, Steve Mariucci, Howie Long, Michael Strahan Daniel Jerimiah, Bad: Brandon Marshall, Anyone on ESPN, Joe Buck, Hater: David Carr, Rodney Harrison, Willie McGiniest Who else you got ?
I always relished that fact that Madden's last game was SB43. What a way for him to go out. His dying words will be "Fuqua tipped it and then Franco scooped it off the ground". To be honest though. I loved Madden's early years as a color guy.
I always felt Phil Simms is a Steelers hater. Good : Ian Eagle Bad or more like terrible: Collinsworth and Booger McFarland Hater: Boomer Esiason and Techheart (Lol)
I honestly don’t mind Collinsworth. He is annoying and inaccurate at times but he does give some insight. Good: I like Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts. Bad: the MNF group Ugly: Aikmen and Buck On the whole I don’t care who is commentating much, it’s just background noise...occasionally interesting, but mostly noise
I used to loathe Collinsworth because he was such a clear Steeler-hater, but I have found that over the years he has mellowed on that. I suppose that the players and staff he played against have all changed over, so his personal animosity waned; I also think he became a bit disillusioned with his former Bengals team. He's actually become pretty balanced when covering the current Steelers team, and he mostly knows what he's talking about. But Madden I could never stand. Even without his over-bearing Steeler-hating, he was self-aggrandizing buffoon who just loved to hear himself talk about nonsense like Turducken.
Randy Cross could've been the biggest Steelers lover ever and I still would've hated him. Self important douche.
Phil Simms and Boomer Esiason are just two of the worst hired commentators to ever make air. They're biased against being good at their job.
