when i saw this, i was thinking that nhl.com posted full game video of games which had already been played, but i looked for this one and couldn't find it.

but i was just reading the game recap thread there for last night's game, and they have highlights, a condensed game vid, and the full game posted - so i think maybe the last time i looked, it was just too soon for them to have put it up yet.

Yeah, I was fishing. Bass were taunting me, they had to pay. Hitting the beds now in the upper midwest probably going to be a little slow for a week or two before things get really hot in this area. Then I can enjoy of a summer of fighting algae and milfoil.

I'll post more on hockey when I'm all caught up on the bitching and whining, uh, I mean analysis of the games.

I have a new found respect for soccer, men's figure skating, and men's diving. There is no way those sports whine and bitch about officiating (or tolerate the bitching about officiating) as much as NHL players/coaches/gms/etc and NHL fans do. I wish fans and former players will get their whiny asses out of the past that never was (when the officiating was supposedly better). Administrative oversight, internal analysis and review, and general quality of such a large pool of officials is unlikely to get any better anytime soon. Technology allows us to pick on zebras more than ever, I'll be shocked if it can be proven if there is a appreciable difference between officiating a couple generations ago and now in terms of quality. Whiny and bitchy announcers like Ken and Mickey don't do anything to advance the cause of masculinity and common sense among hockey fans.

Hockey fans need to quit whining about the sport turning into soccer or figure skating. Fans and players have done more to further that drive than the officials or uncle gary. Why anybody listens to a player's whining when their team only scores 1 freakin goal really makes me scratch my head.

Ahhhh, now I feel better. A post bitching about bitching and I even gave a cheapshot to wings' nation.

So many thoughts. I have to pace myself. I'm foaming at the mouth about STL. Still surprised hardly anybody in the hockey media shares my thoughts on what's going down with the Blues. More to read though.

I can't wait for broadcast with less than 3 references to poor officiating and NO Pierre.

I hope Wings fans are braced for a rough game 3 for their side from officials. CHI is going to get away with more or the game will be called tighter in Chicago's favor in my opinion. Not because of Toews' moaning but because I really think Chicago was short changed a little bit. Detroit took advantage of what the refs were doing/calling better than Chicago and those things tend to balance out.

Q is a spazz with lines. Excellent adjustments by Babcock. Sick of reading about individual effort of wings' players instead of Babcock's excellent adjustments to Chicago. He deserves the most praise, by far in my opinion. If he can do that a couple more times, Detroit has a real chance. Q going to take his special helmet off for the game plan and roster, and he'll give Kitchen back the bottle of Tequila.

Outside of the comment about bettman, chicago and bettman......well welcome back. I take it u didnt catch anything. Bass tourney on lake st clair this weekend think its fml or whatever its called sponsored. We went down to anchor bay last night-good times. Smallies are even better times

 

lol, my trip didn't involve fishing. I did catch some bass this morning. I have a date with some smallies next weekend, they're going to pay for their crimes even though I throw them back quickly. I was actually talking to a fishing buddy about St. Clair and possibly making a trip there in the future. Now you have me thinking about it again.
