and the supposed asking price for Seguin was a top 10 pick in last draft + a current all-star caliber player. think it was a wake up to the kid more than actual trade bait. Heard Calgary was involved but not really anything in place.

He may just want to be a rock star. He really sucked most of the playoffs. Something needs to be recalibrated between the ears. Some guys slump, he looked out to lunch. If he has an inconsistent year with play (not points), Boston has to move him before it's too late. Krejci is a real big boy center, Seguin can buy alot of pieces.

  3. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

    I agree...for now.

  4. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

lol, Hal made his lap around the dumpster.

Amnesty buyout players immediately available. They're considered walking the street, like street walker. Anybody want Montador?

  5. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

At least the media didn't vote OV as a center I guess.

Just when you think the league is starting to get it's head on straight. Whatever the league did to mess up the ballot for AS voting, the media (voters) one-upped them by completely jacking things up further.

ya but Im willing to roll the dice there bob. Players w/ a skill set like that are rare and seem even more rare in a Bruins uni. In terms of players Id much rather have a dollar bill than 3 quarters, 2 dimes, a few nickels and a handful of pennies.

I love that Krejci has been discussed nationally (lennynally) as a star but he is very inconsistent. Shows up for the playoffs every year though so maybe 'inconsistent' isn't exactly the right word.

is that really true about him being a 1st and 2nd teamer at both wing slots?

    ridiculous.

Maybe Gary's minions will finally push for a little more transparency when it comes to the voting.

I wish all pro sports media that get to vote for HOF, awards, mvps, etc. would have to vote in public. They want accountability from players and organizations, the players/orgs and the fans that consume their product could use a little accountability from them.

If they're going to vote like morons, they have to start explaining themselves so we can start filtering the stoopid from the hopeful.

  9. K Wings are out there. some interesting stuff about Seguin. I gotta think its immaturity, he'll get his act together hes too good. I dont think he'll be a head case, i remember a few years back when HNIC did a story on him saying how stable his homelife is and how mature and grounded he was. he'll come around

Ovie passes to ovie and back to ovie for the one-timer top shelf. 1 goal and 2 assists for those scoring at home.

  11. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

I'm seriously as pissed off about this as I am when a player ignores making a hockey play to make a big high hit.
They're really Lennie. Effing morons. Nothing like reading all the tweets of guys saying who they voted for and blaming somebody else. It's their colleagues, quit covering your arses or passing blame and fix your profession.

  12. mattymcgee55 Legend Patriots Bruins

thats called a Russian wet dream.

  13. I have Ian White on both first team defense slots if anyone cares

  14. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

based on his stay in Europe, I think his stable home life did a little too much cleaning up after Tyler.

  15. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

Speaking of Russians and Belorussian. Kostitsyn on waivers, might go to KHL.

  16. rediiis Guest

I wonder if that triggered a double bonus on Ovie's contract?

  17. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

I wonder which of Lennie is writing a piece saying how smart they were that they voted for OV as a RW while everybody else is a stoopid.

I think of this and I think of the cop that rear ended my neighbor's car (stopped) in a parking lot
I think of the secretary that can't make coffee
    I think of Blago
I think of the landscaper that killed my neighbor's lawn
I think of Hicks building a sports empire for the sake of destroying it.
    I think of glowing pucks.

Bad thoughts, bad thoughts. Morons. Big thumbs up to Gary and the gang for not helping them out with some clarification since it's been obvious many of these guys never watch an out of market game.

Nathan Horton to Edmonton for 1 billion dollars? better hope he doesn't meet Aaron Rome at any blue line.

No one does a better job exemplifying the current state of the Habs than the Kostitsyn bros.

  19. this better not result in two Ovenchicken threads *STOP*

  20. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

lol Cutter, could have been 3 if they expanded the voting.

Horton in Edmonton would make me smile, a very warm fuzzy feeling would wash over me.
