  1. who the hell is Lenny? or Lennie, whatever the hell you guys are saying *DONT_KNOW*

  2. Bohonos? Kravitz?

That's a stoop contract. Shero starting to show signs of being too attached to some players, needs to tap head with a hammer multiple times I think.

I listened to the stream for entertainment value. Funny how city council meetings are so similar anywhere you go. There were a couple hockey fans that spoke that didn't really make us look good. I think one was slightly retarded, he was a bit emotional.

    Of mice and men.

Lennie is big, strong, and spayschell. He likes puppies (rabbits in the new movie) and he loves to pet them. Problem is he gets so excited that he ends up killing them when he pets them.

Lennie is the hockey media (Canadian mostly) and nhl franchises are the puppies (or rabbits). They get so excited that they act like retards and try to kill the franchises.

I call the media Lennie because they're spaschell and they love petting their teams so much that they kill them . Unfortunately, we haven't gotten to the point where George has to shoot Lennie, but we're past the point of Lennie fighting with Curley (that was Brian Burke I think, maybe Torts), they couldn't handle Lennie's spayschell strength.

  5. k thanx wouldve never figured that one out

  6. Bob what do you think Morrow and Iginla will want? have you heard anything. their old but like most other players at the right price Id take them. I cant see them really getting too much especially in terms of years and in light of their poor playoff performances. I always liked iginla but not sure how much he really has left but how many times do you get the chance at a future HOFer and 500 goal scorer

Tough to say on Morrow, I think the rest of the league knows how much he's declined now. Tough to price intangibles on a bad player.

On Iggy, we'll see if he wants to win or wants a long contract. Somebody will still give him 4 years I think. We saw huge contracts to Jagr and Whitney and Selanne, so I'm not going to be shocked by anything under 6 for Iggy. Something in the neighborhood of 3 will be a sign he just wants to win.

He didn't choose well going to Pit. Staying there is a really bad idea for next year.

I'm expecting another couple surprises to be put on waivers today or tomorrow. I think a few gms were hanging on to their buyouts as late as possible to play games with other gms in competition for the same players.

Mike "clubbin'" Komisarek, Capt. Glass, and Ballard all to be waived for buyout purposes.

  9. I defintely dont want Iginla for 6. If he took like you said 3 maybe 3.5 for 4 years Id be fine with that. he brings more to the table than Morrow for sure. I think hed be a great fit here. Morrow Id go only a two year and it would have to be around 2. hes a shell of his former self but weve seen how many guys are considered done that come to the Wings and resurrect their careers. Id take a chance on Iginla I think. Jagr is a joke anymore I like to pretend he doesnt exist - which was easy to do while he was in beantown. thats one guy Im sooooo glad Holland didnt bother with and I remember people saying GET HIM GET HIM - Ill pass. just go away Jaromir for gods sake!!

  10. I like Komisarek hes like a tank - unfortunately he moves about as fast as one

Tallon probably won't be active on the FA market according to reports/rumors. Still recovering from his spending spree two summers ago.
    8 teams talking to Briere
Clarkson's contract may make Leino's look reasonable.
Alfie getting interest from Boston...are they trying to be the new Detroit getting the old guys?

Lennie is throwing all the regular names to the wall again. Ryan, Miller, Boyle, etc. in manufactured rumors.

Holmgren was looking for 2 2013 2nds and a 2014 2nd for Coburn. Paul must really like him. Coburn was a ditch award recipient, shouldn't be a first pair dman, but that's no reason to trade him on that contract.

Everybody talking to players and agents now. Should be lots of b.s. to post today, I can't wait.

The Coyotes will now be called the Arizona Coyotes. To those seven fans, you need a new hat.

The St. Louis Blues and Jordan Leopold agreed to a two-year contract.
Beat writer Jeremy Rutherford reports the deal is worth $4.5 million over the term, creating an annual cap hit of $2.25 million. Leopold had two goals and 10 points in 39 games with the Blues last season. . The Blues acquired him from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a second and a fifth round pick.

lennie talking Alfie to the Bruins. lennie talks a lot though and it seems like all the Bruins talk is garbage.

  15. Matty what do you think happens w Seguin? I really like him and think he'll be a good player in time. just curious what the 'lennies' are saying over there. he may not have done much in the playoffs but hes got tons of potential. wny word on the asking price? he'd look awfully nice in the winged wheel ;)

  16. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

    it's Lennie Matty.

  17. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

Lots of waiver action, not sure who is a buyout and who is just taking the trash out for a lap around the dumpster.

  18. mattymcgee55 Legend Patriots Bruins

the Boston sports media is terrible about the Bruins, they're either completely hockey illiterate or they're straight up WAGs. Aside from Joe Haggerty he's pretty good.

I think Seguin is on a talent level w/ only a few other players in the league. He's only scratched the surface. Had 29 goals as a 20 year old and was primed for a great season last year...didnt happen. he wasn't as bad as many make him out to have been though. his play at the end of the reg season and in the Toronto series was horrible though. Im sure there is a lot of BS that he puts the team through that we/lennie don't even know about. he's 21 and he's immature and theres no hiding from that. Bergeron was talking about him a few months ago and said something about Seguin has to learn how to treat his body away from the rink and how to rest properly. Id think a comment like that was probably thrown out there after Seguin showing up hungover or something. pure speculation but for Bergeron to say anything other than vanilla pro-team speak is unusual.

Either way, kid has to grow up and he has the opportunity to be something special. Unquestionably has the best skill set on the Bruins.

so any team can sign a player on waivers (Phi- Lecavalier) now but to sign a true FA they have to wait until July 5?

    and thats a question.

Skillz on waivers!!!!! anyone want a giant headed slow footed mongrel?

  20. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

OV is so awesome he was named first team RW and 2nd team LW.

...If anybody was curious about Lennie having issues...
