the Ditch is back ! this makes my day. been kinda weird around here for the past week.


it has been really weird, CBS was a staple for me and they effed up for the last time. the hand has been forced so time to find a new home. hope we enjoy this site. as soon as I figure things out around here(which will take Mr.Commodore 64 forever) Ill start a fights scrap thread. I cant imagine this site restricting me to only last nights games like CBS did - hated that!

 

It's cold and wet and flurries likely tonight.

How's the excavation going? Lulz, many posters were looking for you on the glogs. So much gasoline only some many people to throw it around.

So I tried joining the CBS glogs near the end of the Sharks-Stars game (right after the Sharks took the lead). But apparently I'm not permitted to do that anymore because my "email has not been verified" -- even though it has. CBS is full of crap. Everyone involved with running that site is an idiot. They can't handle criticism or "hate" from any of their users. I only had one reason to go to that site and now I can't even participate in that. They ruined the message boards and destroyed their community. This is officially the last straw.

I missed the Pho game the other night. Pretty good remaining schedule for Detroit.

If this was a 50 game schedule I think it would be Minnesota on the outside. As is its gonna be either the Wings or Columbus. Mr Obvious I know.

 

If Dallas is eliminated by the final game of the year it'll be even better. They would have nothing to play for (except pride I guess). Although if they're eliminated by then that would mean they lost to Columbus, and we really wouldn't want that. Worst case scenario is that game goes to overtime but not a shootout. 3-point game and a ROW for one team.

I was really hoping the Kings would help the Wings out by beating Minnesota last night but no luck. The Wings still had a shot at a 7 seed before that game. Now it's a long shot.

Three games in four nights for the Wings. I hate this cliche but every game's a game 7 for them.

Anyone have an update on any injury? I'm really hoping Bertuzzi gets back in the lineup before the end of the season.

well, i fell into the Ditch just in time. the Pens lost for the 3rd time since the beginning of time. wet ground is usually soft ground. it's guud to be home. hey cutter, pass the bottle.

apparently, Duncan Keith made some headlines with his "sexist" comments to a female reporter in Vancouver the other night. she called him on a hit against "Mr. Personality" Sedin, where she implied it was on the dirty side. He offered a retort and said that she was not an expert. i'm not really sure how this becomes a sexist issue. it's not like he told to go back into the kitchen. if Pierre-Bool said that to Keith, would it still be a problem? ok, let me re-phrase that... if Edzo said... no wait. you know what? forget it. that was probably her version of flirting.
